Shop overall has a really cool vibe! Rocky is my go to guy and has done phenomenal work on myself, my boyfriend, and my dad. I couldn’t ask for a better all around person to create artwork forever tattooed on my body. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. They accepted my brother and I as a walk in & implemented our tattoo ideas into AMAZING work. Zack had us laughing the whole time. Rocky did a vivid colorful tattoo. Definitely recommend!

Highly disappointed with Jake Parsons and Blackwood Tattoo.
I was so excited to start a full sleeve with Jake. When I met Jake for our first appointment he was enthusiastic about the plan I had in mind for my sleeve and said he could do it. Now half way through my sleeve (Over $1k invested) he decided to bail on me. This was a huge surprise to me and it came for No good reason. Jake said he doesn't think he could do the piece justice? Worst excuse I've ever heard. Why would you even start it if you can't finish it? I am an easy customer to please, I liked the work so far, never late or missed an appointment, set still and let him work without any complaint. I committed to this piece and I can't believe I'm left in this situation now. I'll reiterate how disappointed I am. I think it's very unprofessional not to finish what you start and to offer such a crap excuse for not finishing. I will never refer anyone to this shop and I advise potential clients to think twice before getting any work done here.

Had 2 custom tats by Jake Parsons and would recommend him to anyone. My second tattoo I gave him zero direction and trusted he would come up with a great piece. Surely enough he did and I couldn't be happier. Truly a great tattoo artist, professional and laid back shop, and welcoming experience.

Jake Parsons is a very talented artist and highly underrated in my opinion. He should be booked out years in advance like some of the other tattoo artists in the area but I'm sure he'll get there. The studio is nice and all the artists working for Jake are friendly and talented. Book an appointment and let Jake do his thing. You won't be disappointed!
