I just got a pet memorial tatoo done in remembrance of my 18 year old best friend. I had never had and never thought I would ever get one, but my husband knew how attached I was to our cat and thought it would be an excellent idea to keep his memory alive. Platinum Rose was recommended to me by a friend of a friend and from the moment I started working with Matt, he was a consummate professional. He knew how nervous I was and was extremely professional and thoughtful. I am extremely happy with the results and highly recommend him to anyone, especially "first timers". Thank you Matt!!

I've been going to Platinum Rose since 2013, and there's a good reason for the past seven years that I trust the artists at Platinum Rose with creating and tattooing my permanent skin art. Matthew, Josh, Ella, and Jacob are the four most talented artists in the midwest and it's just so convenient that they're all located under the same roof. The staff at Platinum Rose are more than just tattooers, they're real artists. It's also a one of a kind experience in that everything they create is custom made. There is no generic, unoriginal tattoo "flash" crowding the walls, giving a level of comfort that no two clients will leave this tattoo studio with the exact same cookie-cutter tattoos. All four artists are very patient and understanding in listening to the clients' ideas and the masterpieces they render based on a given idea is artwork and conceptualization at its finest. No matter where I may live in this country, I will always return to Platinum Rose in Cedar Rapids for all my tattoo and artwork needs. They truly are the cream of the crop.

Drove 2 hrs after reading reviews and Platinum Rose did not disappoint. The shop is clean, welcoming & loved the layout. Jacob was great to work with he drew out the designs exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend them to anyone. Not only great work but was good for a laugh. Great time thanks guys we will be back!!

Jacob Grant has done an amazing job on my arm piece. He not only listens to what I want but also takes his time and really gets the details perfect. I’ve had a lot of work done in the past but Platinum Rose has blown me out of the water with their atmosphere and friendliness. Definitely check them out!

If you're looking for a tattoo shop in Cedar Rapids, look no further. Josh did my tattoo and I couldn't be more stoked about it. Ella, Jacob, and Matt were working on some absolutely stunning tattoos while I was there as well. Excellent experience, I can't wait to go back.

Platinum Rose is one of the best tattoo shops in all of Iowa. All the artist here are very professional, friendly, and do amazing work. S/o to Matt Lukesh. I’ve worked with Matt for about three years now. The guy knows what he’s doing. Ive gotten tattooed by Matt 10+ Times and I will continue to go to him for the rest of my life.

The Platinum Rose Studio is a wonderful spot to get a tattoo! My friends and I walked right in, the artists took us right away, and provided exceptional service! Ella was the artist who did my tattoo, and I absolutely loved the time and detail she put into my design!

Jacob (one of the artists) does a phenomenal job. Attention to detail is greater than any expectations I’ve had. His work is so precise it seems as though it’s alive, I could not recommend a better location. Can not wait to get more work done!

4th visit to the shop, all 4 times have been great experiences. Jacob has done all my work so far but I've seen work from just about everyone else and all of it is fantastic. Very comfortable environment and everyone is very friendly. Would definitely recommend these guys for any work anyone needs done.
