Absolutely great place. Relaxed vibe & super nice artists. Loved that they offer up a window for walk-insβ¦was in town for a mini getaway with my husband before the holidays & we wanted to get something small to commemorate. Our artist Mike was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Brought my daughter into to see their piercer, Caleb. A very nice guy. Polite, informative and completed the piercing very well. He is very recommended. I chatted with the owner Big Mike, he has had the business for many many years. He did my wifes first tatoo. He defines customer service, and with his talent you can see why he is so busy.

Got ink done here when I was 18 years old (I'm 37 years old now) and it came out amazing. No complaints whatsoever. I forget who did the work, but the tattoo came out awesome and still looks awesome this many years later. Barley any fading at all. It healed up nice. All the color stayed and none was rejected by my skin, which was nice. I highly recommend Pins and Needles for anyone getting tattoo work done. Their kinda steep on pricing, but it's well worth it for sure.

Caleb is the nicest guy! He has done several of my piercings and they've all healed perfectly. He asks multiple times to make sure you're happy with the placement, answers all questions, he's down to earth and super cool. 10/10 would recommend this place above anywhere else in the area for piercings.

My husband and I got tattoos here today. Great work! We Love them. My husband had tattoos done here 4 years ago and the linework and color is still vibrant and beautifully done. Kelly did ours now (and then) Get there early and put your name down. Great experience.

I went in and spoke to someone at the counter, waited for over an hour just for the tattoo artist to take two girls who came in well after me. So I left.

I normally donβt post reviewsβ especially negative onesβ but got a conch and a cartilage piercing from here last august and I feel like I should warn others from this place. The woman piercer was unfriendly and unprofessional. The piercer only washed her hands once, not between the piercings and touched the trash can with her gloves before piercing my ears. She didnβt give me a choice of what earrings I wanted or anything. She gave me no instructions on how to get the earring out. Both of the piercings never healed, I cleaned them thoroughly and all of my other piercings from other places healed and perfectly fine. The conch piercing ended up falling out and closing up. The cartilage piercing was so infected after months of trying to clear it up. I ended up wanting to take the earring out, but it was stuck on my ear. No one could get it out and I had to go to urgent care (where they even had trouble) to get it out. I ended up on antibiotics after they finally got it out. Choose somewhere more clean and professional for piercings!!

Wonderful, wonderful service. Took one of my children in for a first time piercing, and they were so nice and gentle. I will continue to go there now for piercing or tattoos.

I worked with Caleb on 12/21/21. He was kind, educational, and just a generally really great (personality wise). He gave me a free saline solution at the end!! Total sweetheart.π
However, when he tried to put a curved barbell back into my rook it bled profusely. This was a piercing that Iβd had for around 9 months and had previously been healing nicely. I should also note that the jewelry was out of my piercing for less than 24 hours. The bleeding seemed really strangeβ¦
He also pierced my anti tragus with a labret. I do not recommend that this be offered as an option to future clients (Caleb did offer a curved barbell or a labret). My piercing became incredibly painful (despite ibuprofen and ice). I just had it switched out by my regular piercer and she confirmed that the anti tragus is prone to swelling and the labret stud is generally too small. I really appreciated Calebβs customer service skills, but generally found this piercing experience to be much more painful than it has been at my usual shop. I would be unlikely to return based on this experience. Iβm giving three stars because customer service was 10/10 and Caleb likely has many successful piercingsβ¦just OUCH
Update: Had to take the Anti Tragus outβ¦. It was forming a terrible bump. My piercer told me the angle of the piercing and my anti tragus anatomy may both be contributing. It sucks! Minus the hump it was really cute.
