Most people that I know have gotten a tattoo to represent an achievement in their life, a loss in their life, a love in their life. It's definitely an emotional experience to have something permanently impressed on your body. This particular tattoo was on my mind for 5 years representing the loss of a loved one. Not only did I want to be confident on the decision I made for what I wanted to put on my body but I also wanted to be confident and comfortable with the decision I made on who was going to put it on my body. I do happen to know Darlene personally and for more than 20 years. Having her do it was just as important to me as what I was choosing to do. The experience was incredible, emotional, everything I wanted and more. She is professional and her space is comfortable and clean. I can't recommend her enough, she is worth the wait.

Darlene used ink to correct the appearance of a skin graph on my body, which has given me confidence to be seen in public. She is talented, professional, and efficient. The Brookline space is modern chic, and noticeable efforts are made to keep office space clean and sterile. I highly recommend her practice and her work.

Darlene did a beautiful job creating areolas after reconstructive surgery several years ago. Her compassion, skill and desire to help me feel whole again put me at ease. I could not be more happy with the results. I recommend Darlene as your artist without reservation.

Darlene tattooed my eyebrows when I needed them done, she did an excellent job, picking out a perfect color for my complexion. A few years later I requested to have eyeliner done. She tattooed a thin line of black on my upper eyelids, and a few months later I went back and she added blue. When I get compliments on my eyes I always give them Darlene‘s name, and people are always surprised that it’s a tattoo. Thank you Darlene very much.

My friend and I went to Darlene to get both of our first tattoos in early February, and we'd highly recommend her to everyone! Very professional and very clean, she was thorough and patient as we figured out the specifics of the tattoos we wanted.
