Odyssey Wellness Tattoo

I cannot say enough good things about Darlene and Odyssey Wellness Tattoo. We were down from Albany for Boston Comic Con. We needed a quick tattoo done and Darlene very kindly agreed. She was kind, helpful, and the tattoo turned out wonderful. What we didn’t expect is how much we enjoyed her art style and some of the other pieces she has done. She is wonderful!

Darlene was fabulous from start to finish. She took time, both at our consult and afterward, to make sure that she had a good sense of what I wanted, and she revised her drawing/design using my feedback. On the day-of, she was both willing to chat and willing to be quiet and let me read while she worked! She was great about giving me breaks, and the tattoo came out spectacularly. I get lovely compliments pretty much every time my bicep is showing.

Darlene is an amazing artist, listener and story teller. She has patience beyond words! Four years after she completed my sleeve it’s still bright and beautiful! She is kind and caring and her passion to give tattoos for healing as well as for art is incredible. If you’re looking for someone who will listen closely to what you want and return to you with something beyond your imagination, this is your woman.

I am the proud owner of a 3/4 sleeve done by Darlene about 15 yrs ago. The colors are still vibrant and I get comments on it whenever the weather is nice and I’m in short sleeves. I knew I wanted a sleeve but wasn’t sure about the design. After talking with Darlene for awhile I decided to let her go with what she thought would work for me and my sensibilities and she and her art. She said, “ I’ve been saving a beautiful Japanese Buddha for the right occasion and I think this is it!” I agreed and we embarked on a project that took 4 sittings and a total of almost 12 hrs. At the end I had one of the most beautiful, colorful and original pieces of art that I’d seen! The big plus was, I could take it with me wherever I went. I thoroughly enjoyed our time spent together. Darlene is charming, interesting and very intelligent. She’s quick to laugh and puts you at ease right away. I would recommend Darlene wholeheartedly for any style tattoo you might be interested in. She’s very honest and won’t b.s. you. She’s a true artist, if I had any advice to a first time or nervous client I’d say, just listen to her and you’ll be more than happy with the results.

Darlene is professional, compassionate and informative. I had my first tatto done by her and I truly cannot imagine anyone doing a better job. She plays some good music while you’re in with her too! Darlene did the most amazing artwork for my tattoo. It was better than I could ever have dreamed of, it is pure artistry. I get compliments on the artwork all the time. I am amazed by her skill and from now on she is the only person I will ever have do any work on me. She is masterful and dialed in as an artist to that which is transcendent. Her artwork reveals this in every way . I am so excited for my next piece with her and can’t wait to see what she does with the idea I have. I know she is going to knock it out of the park as she did last time. I cannot recommend her and this studio more highly. Go see them! You will be beyond thrilled!

Darlene has a small but friendly shop. She helped me finalize my design choice and it turned out great. The work she does with breast cancer survivors is very admirable. Definitely would recommend her to anyone considering a new tattoo.

My husband and I chose Odyssey Wellness to get tattoos for our first wedding anniversary, and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out! The studio was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere, and Darlene was patient and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
