I've been here three times and the staff is always phenomenal. From the front desk to the artists, I've always had a great experience. I'm currently working on a piece with Shane and I recommend him to everyone. He sits down and helps me plan and customize design until it's perfect. He drew a design for hours to make it work with a previous tattoo I had until it was perfect. He also has great ideas to help it become that much better. I love that he includes my thoughts, addresses my concerns and helps me customize my ideas! With all of his experience, he always knows exactly how to tweak something to really make it stand out and look amazing. He's fun and knowledgeable and I'm so excited to go back again to finish it up. I really appreciated how much time and effort went in to this on his part. I've waited years to find someone to help me put my ideas in ink and I'm so glad I did! I couldn't be happier with my tattoos or my experience. I'm so grateful to Shane for all the hard work he has done.

Absolutely the best place ever. I love coming to ATS!!!! Wish I had more time and money to spend here. Chris LePore by far the best. She will be the only person poking holes in me!!! And Ian Lopez my favorite tattoo artist. But all.of the staff is amazing and always makes me feel comfortable. I'm big on customer service and they got that down perfect. Love you guys!!!

I'm familiar with American Tattoo Society because of their presence in the community as well as the awesome convention they put on every year that hosts the Nation's cream of the crop tattoo artists. This year, I attended myself and got an amazing tattoo.
So when my four year old decided recently she wanted her ears pierced, I knew ATS was the place to go. The facility was immaculate and very clean.
The staff was AMAZING from the minute we walked in. They completely embraced my daughter and made her feel comfortable. They cheered her on, gave her snacks and fake tattoos. After the first ear was done, she was scared to get the second one done. The staff brought her a teddy bear to hold and Ryan swooped in to hold her hand while Lyn finished up piercing her second ear.
This was a perfect place and a great experience for both momma and daughter. Thank you American Tattoo Society for a great day and making my daughter feel special.

Everyone here was so nice!!!! Sam was so gentle changing out my daughters hoop in her nose. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend them.

Megan, the cosmetic tattoo artist is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. Her work is amazing, and she is so professional. this shop rocks and is the best in NC. Don’t go anywhere else!

I had a great experience at ATS last weekend! The shop is very clean and the staff is friendly. My wait was a little longer than expected but they kept me updated. They also have free WiFi! Mandie and I chatted and she helped to design my tattoo. She was so friendly and did great work. The lines are clean and the tattoo is healing nicely. I had a small reaction to Saniderm and she responded to my questions almost immediately. I love my new tattoos and I can’t wait to come back for another one.

Lena was absolutely amazing! It's great when you can walk in a shop and be greeted by someone with such a bubbly personality. Thesis did my tattoo for my son, and let me tell you.... I have never seen an artist so dedicated to the cleanliness of ones booth! Great experience with great people!

American Tattoo Society is a really good place to get your tattoo. idk about piercings but tattoos for sure. ive been coming here for id say almost two years when they were also working with another shop. The artists are great my tattoo always came out great and i never had an issue with them. and i will say that Kerstin there that works the front counter has helped me out everytime i came here. She was always friendly sweet and yet still professional. also the prices here arent that bad they are pretty reasonable. So i will say this place deserves a five star rating cause of the service and the people.

I scheduled to have a tattoo done at this place and when I went there the computer messed up, but instead of being rude they apologized and got me schedule the same day a couple of hours later to get my tattoo. I unfortunately do not remember the mans name but he did an amazing job and I am so happy with his work and all of the fine details that he put in my tattoo, I could not have asked for a better job. I would highly recommend to come here they have some of the best tattoo artist I have seen.
