Aardvark Tattoo Company

Tried to book a tattoo/coverup, but received zero follow up. I emailed once via their form online, they emailed back and said to call. I called twice and left voicemails twice. No response. I responded to their email. No response. I emailed again via their form. No response. I'll go somewhere they actually want my business. Disappointed they talk a big game about inclusivity and professionalism and then don't respond to the customers they're trying to attract. I understand being busy, but I do NOT understand just ignoring people. Sending a polite, 'I'm sorry we're all booked' email is just the professional thing to do.

I did not have a good experience with Aardvark.

I had a consultation set with Risa who didn't show up. It's a small thing really, but I went through hell getting freed up to spend some time talking with her about the project. At the appointment time I came in and and the folks said she's not there, so I went back to my car and sat in there for 10 minutes watching the door. Nothing. Decided to head home and start looking at other artists/shops. While driving I get a message on my phone saying ''Risa is ready for you!''. (Now 20 minutes-ish late) I said I'll go where the artist can make my consultation appointment (I mean isn't that baseline service?). The reply was "sorry for the delay let us know if you want to reschedule."

Come on, man!

Just got my first tattoo here by DZ and he was very helpful! Would recommend it to anyone who is wanting an epic piece like this one :)

absolute loved this place from the moment I walk in. The staff were so helpful and friendly and made me feel comfortable from the start. I had a small difficult piece I needed to be done on a bad scar and wanted a pacific drawing and the front desk lady suggested I look at Taylor's book. So decided to meet with her on consultation and her personality is great very skill. My piece turned out amazing, she so fast and the works show her skills. I found a new great tattoo artist Taylor.

The owner, Paul, is an amazing guy who has tattooed my wife and I for years. Very clean and amazing work. Anyone looking for a first tattoo, cover up or adding to your existing art should go here!!!! We love the atmosphere and people and what they do!!!!

This is by far my favorite piercing and tattoo shop I have ever been to. I have been tattooed by Madison and pierced by Paul, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I will definitely be coming here for tattoos and piercings from now on, I can't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you to everyone who works here!

Risa is an amazing artist. She was recommended to me by a close friend for my first tattoo. She was able to listen to my ideas for this tattoo and create a custom piece of artwork even more beautiful than I thought it could be. I love my first tattoo and cannot wait to come back to her for the next one and many more after that I'm sure...

I just finished up my first big piece with Risa at Aardvark Tattoo. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Risa was great she listened to my ideas and understood what I was going for but was straight with me when she felt some of my ideas wouldn't work out the way I imagined which I really appreciated because I was relying on her expertise. I am over the moon about my finished tattoo-its cooler than I ever imagined! The whole shop is clean and comfortable and everyone who works there is very friendly. The staff memeber at the desk was very helpful in scheduling my appointments and I love their text message appointment reminder system and they keep you informed if any extra appointments become available because Risa seems to be in very high demand.
Over all a great experience. Time and money very well spent. I have an original peice of art that means the world to me. I love showing it off! I highly recommend this shop and this artist and will for sure be giving them a call for my next tattoo!

I am torn with this review. My friend and I went in to get matching small tattoos on our ankles. We chose this location because of its good reviews. We wanted something small and simple . Dan was the artist we saw. He was about 20 minutes late but we all know life happens.. He sketched up a piece that was cute. The music he played was so loud I had to walk outside to answer a phone call. I am hoping he was just having a bad day because this was the most impersonal tattoo I’ve ever had. There was no conversation and he just looked and acted annoyed during the entire service. The only time he even seemed to perk up was after I gave him his tip. The tattoo itself has good line work so I know his skill set is good but he didn’t add anything to make the tattoo have depth and personality, maybe a bit of white to make the eyes and nose spark.. and some gray to add to the raccoon. I am happy enough with the piece but I will definitely be adding to it to give it some depth.

Very clean and organized shop with great people and amazing artists. Risa did an incredible job on my wife's arm tattoo. She's co-owner and tattoo artist with a great attitude. Would recommend for anyone.
