The artists are wonderful and the space is amazing. It’s such a welcoming, unique studio, and Betty and Shannon are amazing.
The first time I walked in, it felt so surreal. It’s such a bright and open space. The big windows overlook the countryside. There is a horse, a kitty, chickens and roadrunners outside.
Betty and Shannon are not only great tattoo artists, but they’re also fun, kind and thoughtful professionals.

Can’t recommend this place enough!

Drove from San Antonio and visited the shop back on May 28th for a consultation. As soon as you walk in you feel at home. Not your typical tattoo shop stuck in the middle of a shopping strip. The shop is super clean, stations well organized and Betty and Shannon are really awesome. Shannon created a tattoo to remember my father and got it tattooed on June 26 2020. Gave her a few photos and ideas the day of the consultation and she took off with it. Couldn't have asked for a better tattoo. Definitely recommend checking this shop out. Definitely worth the drive. These ladies know their craft!

My mom, sister and I were looking to get matching tattoos for my mom’s birthday and before I moved out of state. I was looking to find a place where they would feel comfortable and wouldn’t be scared or intimidated by their atmosphere since I know a lot of tattoo shops can feel overwhelming (I’ve had quite a few tattoos done in my lifetime so far).

Bringing my mom and sister into this shop felt like home; the people who run the shop are very welcoming and it is such a clean space! We worked with Shannon and she was the kindest and most helpful tattoo artist I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She made all of us feel welcomed and comfortable, along with making the tattoo process as painless as possible while setting realistic standards for tattoo placement and sizing. I had drawn out a tattoo idea and she was able to revamp it and made it even better than I would’ve imagined, and she handled all of us with such precision and care - the tattoo looks beautiful!

I want to thank Shannon and the lovely people of Rose & Crown for making this experience as perfect as it could be, and I’m going to cherish this tattoo for the rest of my life

I got my first tattoo done here by Shannon Moxie. She did absolutely amazing, made me feel comfortable and was extremely knowledgable and helpful. She told me I sat great for my first time, lovely to hear, and she has the hands of the daintiest of fairies! Much less painful than I thought. Cant wait to get more!!

Shannon Moxie is so badass! She helped me create the most perfect Legend Of Zelda inspired tattoo, she was kind and funny and had such a blast listening to her fascination on the history of tattoos and legends in the tattoo industry. I am naturally an awkward and silent person but she allowed me to let loose and enjoy the environment!

Super in love with this shop! Was recommended here by a co-worker of my fiancèe, and couldn't of been more happy to of had my cover-up done by Betty! I had been really wanting my old tatt covered for a while but never really was at a good spot to get it done, but now that we are getting married in about a year I wanted to get it done. Betty did a phenomenal job, you can't even tell that it's a cover lol. So much color is in it too, which I'm in LOVE with the rainbow! The shop is very welcoming and has that "welcome" feeling. Will definitely be coming back for my fiancée's first tattoo, and my next 😊

This was the best tattoo experience I have had. Betty Rose is so talented, and a beautiful person as well. I cannot express how wonderful my tattoo makes me feel! She captured everything, and I can’t stop looking at my new piece of art! I hope Betty and I can spend more time together soon!

I reached out to Betty Rose eight months ago to see if she'd be up for the challenge of reworking my old, unfinished ¾ sleeve. It was convenient to be able to submit photos with my consultation request online and we had an appointment set up in no time. She was honest about what we could finish before an important date. Beyond Betty's artistic ability and strict sanitization procedures, she is easy to talk to and does an excellent job of making you feel comfortable. Last weekend we had our sixth and final session for this sleeve makeover project at her new shop! From the moment you walk in, it is obvious that Betty has put together a carefully curated experience for the clients of Rose & Crown. The waiting area is welcoming with soft music and a very cool mix of art and lovely antique furniture. C.C. the apprentice offered a variety of tea and coffee options throughout the session. Betty's work area has large window looking out to a horse pasture and the shop cat Lois would pass by the window during our breaks. Toward the end of the session I was so relaxed I almost dozed off and my view out the window was of a white horse with the sunset in the background. I mean, COME ON. How could you ask for more?! I'll be back at the shop again for the complementary final review of the tattoo to see if any minor touch ups are needed, which is another great perk at the end of an overall fantastic experience.

Rose And Crown Tattoos is one of the best tattoo shops in Austin Texas. It's a little house In a farm beautiful everyone is so positive and loving and care about there clients and making sure you get what you are looking for, that you are comfortable before you leave there. I got a peony on my chest by shannonmoxie she does such beautiful work very friendly, funny, and really takes her time with you and listens to any concerns or worries you have. She is currently still working on my chest piece and on my husband's sleeve but man we are excited to see the results she is just awesome !! I also got some flowers from my wedding done on my right arm from ladycordova Braeden also friendly and does beautiful work. The environment is very positive i remember being nervous the first time my husband & I went there but it was way more then we could have ever expected they all really make you feel like your at home they all do such beautiful work !!
