Octopus Ink

I’ve gone there to inquire information on two different occasions and both times I’ve been greeted by a lady who has been extremely rude, I get tattoos are a different kind of industry but business is still business and She needs to practice on her customer service skills.

Well. I went in this afternoon, and I for one went back because I had already gotten two tattoos at this shop. I am very satisfied with them. By two separate artists too. However, upon waiting for a bit I was called up to be abruptly rushed through a quick question of judgement. Literally. I’d say. Took 45 seconds to ask a question and give a rude answer back and immediately and enthusiastically return to his current customer. I’ll patiently wait happily for good service. And I know things get busy. But all you have to say sir, is give me a few minutes so I can finish up with my client, so I can further speak to you. Instead of being so quick. You obviously don’t care to be interested in making money. Or even for scheduling an appointment. The first thing I said, was verbatim.
Hey how’s it going man. I know you guys are busy. And I have a bunch of questions. I don’t know if it would be easier to schedule an appointment or if I can get inked rn that would be cool.

I didnt say I need this now. Or demand anything or even be rude. Shoot. I asked you how you we’re doing bro. You sir. Should have more patience or at least try to practice better customer service. I’ve already spent money with you. And I came back because of how much insight you gave as an artist. As well as the good work. It’s sad that whatever has happened. I didnt speak to an artist today. I was rushed. It’s sad. Good work. But I won’t be returning. I even called and they said to come in. Well I did go in. But the service I once received and recognized as top level, well it’s gone. That does suck. Now I need to find a new shop. I just wanted a consult. And to spend money and get some cool ink. So I can advertise for you and say this is where to go. Now instead of planning with my artist on some new ink, and we’re talking tax time ink. ( for not just me. My wife as well didnt even get to ask.) I have to go somewhere else. And hunt for new shops. What a let down. Long post I know. But. I sir. Am very understanding. But there is no reason you need to be so short with potential ink. Especially Im sure you didn’t know but returning customers. The four tattoos we have gotten there will be all the ink from you guys unfortunately. Hopefully you’re other returning customers don’t get offended like I was ready to drop 3-400 bucks. I suppose things happen for a reason. And I’ll have to start to develop a new relationship with anothe artist. The sad thing is. I loved the work. Do love. And came back for that artist opinion. Oh well. Unfortunate. The guy with short hair. Like a zero. You were once a cool dude. But not tonight.

Worst service ever!!! ppl there is so rude they cannot even answer a simple good morning, the owner a skinny short guy promised something and while the work were in progress he changes his mind, for example he said that I'll be getting my tattoo done for 500 and after 3 hours passed he just stopped and said that if I wanted finish I had to pay another 300!!! while he was working I asked simple questions and he made me feel like my questions were stupid, not everybody works in the tattoo area jackas!!! the other "artist" are playing games so loud and talking between them like superior ppl, at the end my tattoo wasn't what I paid for and I let him know and he did nothing, not even offer to fix it, now I spent another 400 dollars just to fix a bad tattoo, I wasn't happy at all, now all McAllen area knows what kind of "service" is giving there!!!

Great people. Never been disrespected or been rude towards. I'm thinking those other folks were rude or disrespectful first and I know Carlos doesn't play that stuff and won't tolerate it. I don't blame them if they were rude back to a crappy customer. The customer is not always right.

Had a double helix peircing done by Adrian. He was super chill and had a light hand....didn't even hurt. Will be going back for some tats in he future. Great place and people! If you know what you want to get done, this is the place to go. 💯👌🏼

They are a badass group. I got my hip/ab area done, I couldn't stop squirming cause it hurt like a mf, but they worked with me. They charged a good price, all in all I would go there again

Beware! Very unprofessional environment. Rude! The people working there seem to have personal issues that they take to work with them. They are ignorant and impolite to their customers/clients as if they aren't happy in their place of business anymore. Because of the antisocial behavior they bestowed I was intimidated to get any body work done with
fear of getting it done wrong.

To the congregation of Octopus Ink : Why are you making tattoos and performing piercing if clearly you don't seem thrilled about your occupations. All of you behave like punks. The world does not owe you anything. Change your course of business if you aren't going to correctly attend possible clients.

I loved the girl who did my tattoo... she was recommended by a friend... Very professional. Great price.

Carlos is a awesome artist. My husband got our zodiac signs combined he's a Gemini and I am a Libra. With Roman Numerals IV.XXX.MMXV. Tmrw my sister and I have a session 3D butterflies 1 bigger than the other to represent big sis and little sis
