Bad Experience Unprofessional Incomplete Tattoo Poor Customer Service

EDIT: I talked with Seth, and he was very very helpful. I got an appointment with Rob, and he was also so helpful and nice. He was able to completely fix the tattoo, and I am so happy with it. Rob was so friendly, and did truly amazing work. I am so thankful for what he did. You cannot see the previous tattoo at all, and it is beautiful! I would absolutely recommend going to this shop and seeing both Rob and Seth. They both truly care about doing a good job and making you happy. Thank you guys SO much!

I had a tattoo done by Jay. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I came in for a cover up of a few year old pug. My first experience was coming in and Jay not being there, and having to wait for him to come in late.
I wasn’t really sure what I wanted, so Jay recommended and urged a rose design to best cover it. Everything was okay, the first appointment was my first professional tattoo so after about 2 hours, I was in a lot of pain, and Jay recommended coming back.
I came back in two weeks, and he informed that it wasn’t healing the best because he forgot to ask if I had any metal allergies before using red tattoo ink, which he said contains metal. He did maybe 30 mins of work, saying that it wasn’t healed enough, and I would have to come back.
I came back again in four weeks this time, really hoping to just get it finished. Jay said he wasn’t feeling well, and took a Benadryl. After 20 minutes of getting ready, and maybe 10 minutes of tattooing, he said he still really wasn’t feeling well and was done for the day. I was really hoping to continue, but he would not.
The next appointment I had work come up, and had to cancel the appointment.
After this, we played phone tag for about 4 months before I was finally able to get an appointment a few days ago.
When I came in, he was once again late, and seemed to forget he even made the appointment. After 15 minutes of waiting and 15 minutes of him getting ready, he brought me back. He started to complain that we should have completed it in one session, and sooner. He said there was just nothing else he could do.
I do not believe that was all he could do. They are clearly parts of the roses that were not colored in. You can see the previous tattoo in a lot of places. This is not a finished tattoo.
I do not feel completely at fault for the time it took to complete, yet at the appointment today, he seemed like he was blaming me for the time it took when he was one who was ending appointments early.
I paid $300, with a $50 tip for an even worse tattoo than I started with. He told me that $300 would cover the entire thing. I do feel bad it took this long to finish, we were both at fault for that. But I do not deserve a bad unfinished tattoo. This is a permanent mistake on a very visible part of my body. Tattooing is not a joke and a life-long decision, But Jay treated this like it didn’t really matter.
I contacted Seth, the manager, and his only solution was me continuing to work with Jay, or have a coworker try to finish it. Both of those options made me very uncomfortable, so now I wasted $300 on an ugly unfinished tattoo. I would urge anyone thinking of coming here to look for other more professional places.

I came to buy some tattoo supplies from the shop, it was 815pm. There was a lady behind the counter in the shop an they doors were locked!! The lady Ignored my phone calls and refused to answer the door when they were clearly open. How are artists supposed to get any work done when they cant get any supplies? Thumbs down!

I've seen Seth do numerous piercings on myself and a few of my friends and they've all turned out great. He takes his time and is super helpful to ensure you get the piercing you want! The only reason I'm not leaving a 5 star review is because the last time I went into the shop I had a slightly less amazing experience. The other piercer, who never mentioned his name, was very nice and friendly, BUT he pierced completely the wrong part of my ear. I said the word "rook" probably 12 times before he did the piercing, and after it was done I ended up with a DAITH piercing. He said that most of the time people come in and don't know the right words for piercings so he just assumed that's what I wanted. (I was only a little bit offended that he just assumed I didn't know the difference between a rook and a daith lol). He never showed me any markings before hand or asked for clarification before doing the wrong piercing. I also got a snug piercing done on the other ear, which ended up a little crooked. He did end up giving me a rook piercing and not charging me the full amount he was originally going to. I appreciate him fixing his mistake but this is just a reminder to everyone to COMMUNICATE with your piercer and BE 100% SURE they listen to what you want.

Super awesome place, stopped by the get my tongue pierced and wasnt there longer than 15mins. Seth was my piercer and he was super chill and laid back and best of all he was quick with the piercing! Afterwards he went over all basics of how to clean your new piercing and also what is to be expected. The job was fast and easy and the best part of all it looks great!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I showed up to my *appointment* and the artist was not even there. They didn’t even have the decency to open the door and tell me that they were not honoring the appointment — they just held up a piece of paper thru the door!

How hard would it have been to call me and apologize beforehand? Before I drove out there? Or better yet, keep the appointment!

Every experience I have here is a great one. The staff is very friendly and cooperative, and their prices are more than fair. My tattoos have been exactly what I wanted every time and it is always accomplished quickly and professionally. All in all it's a 10/10.
