"Rising Tide Tattoo was founded in 2005 by Phill Bartell as a one-man shop on Pearl St. in downtown Boulder, Colorado. Five years later, Rising Tide Tattoo Emporium & Gallery was born from the idea that one space could bring together fine art and tattoo art; displaying quality work on both skin and canvas. In 2010, Rising Tide opened its doors to a warm reception from the community and our machines have hardly been quiet since. Our artists work closely with each client to ensure that their pieces are unique and aligned with their vision. Come on by to check out our light-filled, inspiring space, peruse portfolios and gallery art for sale, or to make an appointment for custom work. Walk in clients are also welcome."

Best art and tattoo gallery in Colorado. Phil has a vision of how the place should be and sticks to that vision. Incredible artists here, they give input on how to improve designs or create from just an idea in your head. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Then a terrific guy like Danny gives you more ideas and options. It's like a dry-run...stage the location, size, and placement. I really like the discipline to detail at Rising Tide. Rising tide and their artists have been there for over 14 years. This tells me they like what they do and have many repeat customers. This continued "Proof of Performance" helped my confidence.
