I had my tattoo done by Emir he had to rescheduled me 3 times before I could get my tattoo done. Every time I went in he was busy or had taken a walk in but he knew he had an appointment with me. He gave me a set price at $150 and I ended up paying 250 for whatever reason I didn’t care at the time I just wanted to get out of there. I wanted a realistic rose and the stencil looked realistic but when he got done it was bad and he knew he messed up and wanted to add color because he said it would help. The whole time he wanted to do his own thing by putting color and I wanted it black and grey so I stopped him from putting the color in. I had to get it fixed somewhere else but never going there for tattoos or piercings.

i got my tongue pierced at this place and it was by far the worst experience:( i never leave reviews either but i feel obligated for this. i have 10 piercings so i am pretty experienced in knowing what the whole procedure is like. chris pierced my tongue for me and it took him a solid 10 minutes of him just looking at my tongue because he couldn’t figure out where to pierce it. he hardly said anything to me throughout the whole process and when he did speak it was incredibly hard to understand what he was saying. he didn’t tell me when he was putting the needle through either, didn’t even mark the spot where he was going to pierce me at, and when he put the needle through he couldn’t get it all the way through so he ended up moving the needle around when it was halfway through and forced it through my tongue. super upsetting bc it’s a relatively painless piercing that turned into being my most painful piercing yet bc he didn’t know what he was doing :( also very upsetting bc if you pierce a tongue wrong you can end up paralyzing someone’s face. not only that, but when i was done he kept complimenting me and saying how pretty i was and asked how old i was, extremely unprofessional especially considering i am a 19 year old girl and don’t look much older than i am and he must be atleast 40+ . will not be coming here again:(

Keilani (idk if I spelled it right...)at Living Art did my nose piercing about 3 weeks ago. I waited to see how it would heal before reviewing, but based on her attention to detail in the studio, I expected it to heal fine and it has.
It's exactly what/where I wanted. She listened when I told her about a complication I had ten years ago and was very thorough in explaining how and why they use their processes to prevent the same issue.
Another review showed a picture of the bent piercing jewelry as a complaint, but that is exactly what they need to do to make sure your piercing/skin doesn't heal (affix itself) to the jewelry. I clumsily knocked the pen out of her hand to the floor and, like a professional, she just slid it out of the way, not touching it until she was 100% finished with my piercing. Even then, when she picked it up, she did so in a sanitary fashion and sterilized it to prevent future possible contamination and then sterilized it properly. Overall, I was 100% impressed with her professionalism, attitude, and skill. I'm not sure what my next piercing will be but I'll definitely be returning to Kelani after this excellent experience.

I know this is a tattoo studio, but this is not a review on their tattoo skills. Even though the artwork I've seen is great. But I'm more of a piercings kinda girl. And I had been skeptical of this place, because of feedback I got from friends. (Apparently this is things they heard, never lived themselves). Also, I called asking about the piercing techniques. Such as, what metal was used. Dude didn't know jack.. so I believed that they were trouble and chose another piercing salon for my rook. Fast forward two years. I had to take out my rook piercing because it had gotten infected. From what people in the community want to say is a "reputable place". So I walked through the door of Living Art Tattoo Studio. Just cuz this is always the place where I get my jewelry changed in my other piercings. (Literally 2 mins from where I live). One afternoon I decided to take the plunge and asked the piercer to repierce the rook. (I really missed it). They did. 2 months later, it is basically pain free. Of course, still taking care of it. But I gotta say this place is great. They don't toot their own horn on how "great and sanitary it is". And they dont ask you to bring the jewelry you want put in 2 days before (tf?) like other places. But they ARE clean. And I felt satisfied with the care I got. And the sanitation, which of course is crucial for someone like me that likes piercings. I will come here for the next. Highly recommend. Give 'em a try. They won't gouge you like other piercing shops. And they're good at what they do.

The ladies there were super supportive and sweet. The procedure was also super fast!

I came in to get my tongue pierced. I came alone and nervous but they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They even gave me a hand to hold during the piercing. They are honestly the best and super affordable compared to other shops! I went back that night with a friend and she got her belly and I got another piercing. Definitely recommend!!! I'll be back for more!

Boy oh boy how I wish I could post a photo. Cane is very talented and had done several of my tattoos. However, the last one, will be the last one from him! It's a very sentimental addiction tattoo with a fully orange prescription bottle. I guess the standard white lid was out of the question. Also, the ribbon around it quotes " my biggest failures in life are knowing I never tried" but it's so illegible, the public and other tattoo artists always have to be corrected on what it says. It also was poorly placed. Meaning some is on the ribbon and some is IN the bottle. It's an embarrassing one for sure, that I always have to cover to avoid shame. With a previous complaint I was still required to put down $150 just to have it fixed by the SAME artist who messed up in the first place. I now have more shame about my tattoo than my addiction itself.

I loved my experience at this shop. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist who was friendly. My artist was Daniel and he was extremely nice and made me feel welcomed. He was clean, respectful and listened to what I wanted. He paid great attention to the detail he put in my tattoo and made sure I was comfortable. A few other artists came in while he was working on mine and from talking with them I could tell they were all friendly. I will definitely bring my business back to them :) I'm in love with my new tattoo.

If I could give them 0 stars for their customer service then I would. It took me over 2 hours to get a tongue piercing when they werent even busy. When I came in there were 2 people in front of me waiting for piercings and it still took over 2 hours to pierce my tongue. The man who pierced it was inadequate to say the least. He gave me the wrong size of tongue ring for the swelling and didnt mark my tongue before piercing it. I do my own piercings better than this "professional" did it.
