I got Heather to do a piece for me. We went with the ribs after I gave a very obscure idea with no reference photos. She did some drawing and a little research and the piece she came up with blew my mind and my expectations out of the water. When discussing price, the total amount blew my mind as well. She tattooed it quickly, but precisely and was not heavy handed at all (my rib cage thanks her for that). In the end, I couldn't be more satisfied.

I went there 3 weeks ago to get my septum pierced. Kaylani did my piercing, and she did it wrong. It was very crooked. My nose/septum is more straight than a ruler so there was no reason for a mess up. I happened to tell some friends about the experience and they said Kaylani messed up their piercings as well and had to get them redone. I contacted the manager or whoever he was and he said if I take it out they’d re do it for free but I didn’t want to get it redone there as I was very uncomfortable at this point. So I just asked for my money back and they told me no. Which was fine I guess but hey don’t let Kaylani pierce any part of your body.

They did great on my friends nose. But my piercings got infected. Its a hit or miss. Staff is great tho. If you have sensitive skin probably not the best move. I've gone multiple times. My friends always turn out good but never mine lol it is what it is

I’ve gotten my tongue and my septum pierced by Gabriella and both experiences were great but after today’s situation I trust her with every piercing I’ll get in the future. I woke up with the ball of my tongue piercing fallen off and my tongue partially closed up. I was lucky enough to have a small hole still there and she very patiently worked with me to stretch my piercing back to where it needed to be. She was very attentive and determined to help me out. She rocks! I’d recommend her to anyone, if you’re thinking of going in, just do it!

At the beginning of the year (Jan 1), I got a nose and ear piercing for $40. I was with two other people and they had taken us in altogether. When she explained what was going to happen, I have no recollection of what type of nose jewelry was going to be put and frankly I should have asked, but you would think this would be mentioned. When she pierced me in the ear, there was a lot of blood to the point where it drenched the end of my hair and fell down my jacket. Not only that, the piercer didn’t seem that concerned about the amount of blood there was but I was given (antiseptic or alcohol) pads to clean it up.
At first I didn’t think anything of it. On January 4th, my nose piercing fell out (I knew this might happen), fortunately I was able to get it back in but I noticed that the standard nose stud was a very short L-Bar that does not accommodate swelling because it came out again today. You get what you pay for. Customer service is great but just not the best place to get piercings.

*Below are pictures of the jewelry. I have gotten a nose piercing before, and the experience at this one just wasn’t right.

I brought my daughter here to get her tragus pierced. We had been here a year ago for her nose and forward helix piercing, which went great. We had to sign in on the waiting list, which we did and she was number 2 in line. We were told it would be about an hour wait as the piercer was at lunch. We went in after over an hour and to see if we needed to check in. We were told that the piercer had not given her the okay yet to start having people arrive. We went back out to our car and waited another hour. We then came in, did paperwork and paid. And waited another hour. Finally it was her turn to get pierced. I have no idea what his name was, as he didn't ever really speak to us. He pierced her tragus and sent us on our way. After 4 days when the swelling went down, we realized the piercing was not done correctly and had another shop also confirm that she should take out her piercing to let it heal and have it re-pierced. It is so disappointing. We will not be coming back here.

Despite being severely overbooked and having many people in the facility visibly impatient, Kaylani did an amazing job on my constellation piercings. She really took her time to make sure I was happy with all 7 piercings. She was clean, friendly and walked me through every step. She made sure I was comfortable through the whole process. I will definitely be coming back to her specifically when they heal to get different colored jewelry and any other future piercing needs.

9 days ago I got my Medusa. My first facial piercing. I was kinda skeptical about going here in the first place but some of my friends convinced me because they said they had an ok experience. I should have said something but I was nervous to be honest.. so I didn't think about it, trusting they would be professional. The peircer did not have me use mouth wash not once, and barely used an alcohol pad to clean the area. He did get the piercing centered correctly, BUT he went at a downward angle when he went through with the needle and pretty much pierced through the back of my lip. After he was done he said he was 30 minutes late going to lunch. And he seemed upset. I would have waited for him to go eat if he was that upset if it meant it would have been done right. I didn't notice right away because of swelling. But now that it's not swollen anymore, It's very upsetting. When my mouth is closed, you can see the other end of the piercing between my lips. After speaking with another shop for a second opinion, they confirmed that it was not done right. Now I had to take it out, let it heal and pay to have it done again elsewhere. And of course! They won't refund me. living arts is very low priced. So i guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend this place, and if you go, be careful and aware.
