Tried and True Tattoo

My boyfriend came here for a tattoo by Rob Flat and it turned out amazing! Definitely recommend this place for everyone. He made the process super easy and quick with still had so much detail and beauty in the tattoo.

Marco was just amazing. He was patient, calm, funny, and really asked me why I wanted my tattoo, which I greatly appreciated. He made me feel like he was genuinely interested in me as a person. Even offered me cupcakes! But let me just say that I was getting a tattoo done in a singer’s handwriting, who I had previously met months before and asked her to write this word. I had asked him to thin it up cause she wrote it with a thick sharpie, making some letters unreadable. He did it effortlessly, kindly, and without trying to hurt me too much. I showed the singer the tattoo, she remembered me, flipped out, and (the word is from my first book of poetry I ever wrote and after meeting the singer the first time, I got so inspired because she’s only two years older than me and is so talented so, I’m now self-publishing that said book this December and) I gave her a copy of my book and one of her staff people like encouraged me to autograph it FOR the singer? And wow, well I flipped out, the singer flipped out upon seeing me, her singing was spectacular but I couldn’t have been as over the moon as I was if it wasn’t for Marco’s kindness and his perfect execution of my vision. So thanks again for working with me and I hope you enjoy all the sweets you want!

I found Rob’s shop after doing some searching for an artist here since I just recently moved to Atlanta...and got a new tattoo on my neck done by him. Less than a week later I went back for 2 more all of which are done perfectly. He is absolutely AMAZING at what he does. Everything from the placement of the tattoos to the work itself shows his talent. The shop is super clean and his assistant Mallory is so sweet and always helpful. I am definitely going back to get more done.

My experience was a pleasure! The studio was very clean and nicely set up. Rob Flat tattooed me, and I absolutely love it! He was very professional and patient. My service was not rushed, and I felt very comfortable. He executed my tattoo exactly how I imagined it to be. I would definitely recommend him to the world if I could!

Overall had a great experience working with Rob Berrong! I had a couple of tattoos from years back that were faded and needed a little upgrade. He took a couple of ideas I had and tied everything together and it looks sharp and clean. He is a great artist and the shop is a laid back and friendly environment. I definitely would recommend for anyone looking to get a tattoo and definitely will be back for more!

I just had a tattoo completed at Tried and True Tattoo under a recommendation from a friend who’s had many many tattoos completed here by Rob Flat. Even during uncertain times this shop quickly answered all my inquiries and safely set up my appointment. The shop is super clean and all the staff I interacted with were friendly and inviting. Rob is a super cool guy that created such a welcoming environment. We even watched a Dave Chappelle stand up together and had a few laughs! Rob definitely had a gentle and steady hand and my piece came out even better than I could’ve ever imagined. His lines are super clean and every detail was masterfully done. Had a great experience with Rob Berrong at Tried and True. My wife had work done by Rob at another shop a few years back, and per her recommendation I made an appointment with him at Tried and True. The shop is very nice, very welcoming environment and very clean. Rob was very friendly and easy to work with, he took my basic idea and worked with me to enhance it to be exactly what I was looking for. Rob took a lot of time getting the design just right, I greatly appreciated his attention to detail. The tattoo looks great, and based on my wife I can also say that it will look great years down the road. I can't say enough about what great customer service I received from Rob, highest of recommendations!

Rob Flat did an amazing job to make sure my tattoo was exactly what I wanted. I told gave him a basic idea of what I wanted, two days later I went to the shop and he had three different sketches done for me to choose from. Of course, he let me have my input so I got exactly what I wanted. He works fast, and precisely. His shop is always clean and all of his equipment is thoroughly sanitized. He takes pride in his work, and in his shop. It’s easy to see why I’m a repeat customer. I want quality, and Rob Flat is top of the line.
