After visiting 2 other tattoo shops on the island, Tried & True was recommended to us. We stopped by to meet the guys. Cory was super friendly and understanding to what we were looking for, considerate of our vacation time and willing to take the time to talk us through things in order to ensure we had a phenomenal experience. Jason did great work on my husband and Cory did a fantastic job on me. I highly recommend these guys!

Awesome tattoos from Corey for myself and my husband today.
I fell asleep at one point Corey is excellent. I received far beyond my expectations of what I wanted, a Honu tattoo with a hibiscus.
The colors are stunning. My husband got a custom Tiki from COREY.
Super laid back place and very reasonable prices.
Corey fully explained all after care and was so friendly. Thank you!

on 7-13-21 my experience with tried and true tattoo was just amazing. danny designed and drew up my vision and went on to create the exact piece that i wanted. during that 5-6 hours we were there, the tried and true folks were professional and fun to hang out with. cory, danny and rob, mahalo for the great memories, i HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop and these artists to everyone from someone getting their first tattoo to a veteran of the ink. i spent the last 15 years not getting additional ink because the fear of pain my last tattoo caused me. danny helped restore faith in myself that i could now continue with additional ink work without it killing me. stellar work danny, see you next time for sure.

Scheduled are tattoos a few days ago to celebrate our 25th anniversary and our visit to Kauai. Shop was very busy first thing in the morning but Evan got me right in and did an excellent job on my tribal bear. Jason did an unbelievably outstanding job on my wife's tribal butterfly concoction that she came up with... you can't describe how great the colors blend and the fading that was done he is a true master of his art
