Devon does amazing work! I wasn’t for sure what I exactly wanted when I went to my consultation so Devon talked through some ideas and helped me figure out the perfect tattoo to symbolize my son. I cannot say enough great things about the work that Devon does and how professional he was from the very beginning.

My experience getting tattooed by Devin was…unquestionably…the best tattoo experience of my life. His attention to detail was almost a match for how buff he was. In fact, he’s probably the most buffest of Kansas City…maybe even the world. I’d highly recommend Devin for all your tattooing needs, but plan to leave at LEAST 20 minutes early for all appointments for the rest of your life due to the number of people stopping you to specifically request the contact information for the person who did your tattoo. He’s actually anticipated this and may require you to keep a photo of him, shirtless and flexing, on your phone. I thought it was a little weird at first, too. But it ended up being a real timesaver.

My sister and I went for walk in tattoos and were fit in to the schedule same day. Devin was our artist and was super professional and kind. It was my sister’s first tattoo and he made sure she felt comfortable and calm. It was a great experience and we will definitely be going back to Devin for future tattoos.

On November 28, I got three basic linework tattoos in all black from Trent. I had checked their portfolio beforehand and thought that they were a good artist and could give me high quality tattoos for my first ones. Unfortunately, they did not turn out how I wanted. There is blow out on all three, the script is unreadable, and the dagger overall didn't follow the stencil. The star on the hilt is uneven, the cancer symbol is almost touching on one side, the blades edge isn't crisp, and the constellation just isn't good. I'm quite frustrated and disappointed in my tattoos, especially since two of them are memorial tattoos. I also believe I was overcharged for the work I got done. For the three tattoos I received I was charged $300. I can't say that he'll always do subpar work, but unfortunately mine weren't done well. There are photos of them fresh, and close to a month healed.

I received 2 tattoos from Devon. They each took an hour at most, they look amazing. He made sure there were no white spaces within the tattoo. He was very professional and made polite conversation throughout. His aftercare instructions were thorough and helpful. Definitely planning on going back!!

Working with Justin these past several months on my half sleeve has been awesome. I came in with a few general ideas and he came back with the perfect design! He’s super cool and professional, and his work is creative, unique and so beautiful! I recommend Headless Hands to everyone who stops and ask about my tattoo. I’ll definitely be calling Justin up when I start planning my next piece!

Justin was amazing. He was so easy to work with. He was able to get me in ahead of schedule and during my appointment. He was so easy to talk with and personable. My tattoo is actually what I wanted and it was so clean and the best experience I have had getting a tattoo. I know where I will go for my next one!

Edit: I have now had my 3rd tattoo at Headless Hands. I always enjoy their environment. They are professional and their cleanliness impeccable but also fun and friendly!

I have been wanting to get a memorial tattoo for my dog, Shelby, since she passed away over 2 years ago. Shelby was my best friend. She saw me through the birth of 2 children, illness, depression, and divorce. I knew I had to get it right. I work near Headless Hands Tattoo and have driven by many times, so I decided to give them a call. They set me up with an artist for a consultation after finding out what I was looking for. After the consultation with Vince, I knew Shelby and I were in good hands. Vince listened to what I wanted and then helped me bring it to life. I'm so proud to have this work of art and a piece of Shelby to carry with me always! Headless Hands was great! Their workshop is clean and comfortable. I hope to come back soon!
