Kokopellis Tattoos And Piercings

Went to get a piercing and was told to come back several times throughout the day. Wasted hours of my life for them to tell us right when it was about to be our turn that they aren’t taking anyone else, instead of telling us when we got in line. Will definitely be going to diversified for my piercing tomorrow morning, much better reviews. This is the second time this week I got denied of a piercing because of workers who don’t know what they’re doing.

I have been going to Kokopellis for my piercings and tattoos for the last 10 years. Luke & Janis have never disappointed me! Luke always takes my ideas and creates custom pieces better than I could have imagined. Janis has done several piercings and I have never had an issue with placement or the healing process. I have always felt welcomed, treated with respect, and left wanting to return for more!

We have been to this place twice, the 1st time an hour before closing and was told the piercer was not there and had left for the day. Okay, the 2nd time we called at 3:00pm and asked about having our 16 y/o daughter’s ears pierced, and what time they closed and verified the piercer was there… all was good. We showed up 50 minutes later and the piercer was gone, and was greeted with the statement that, “when the piercer is done for the day they are done”. This is absolutely no way to run a business, with hours of operation that mean nothing when you want to have an ear pierced. When a piercer makes their own hours and comes and goes when they want, that is no way to create a customer base of new clients. We will never set foot in this establishment again.

In the past i have loved getting pierced here, cheap and good quality. but lately they have been disappointing me, first they weren’t doing septum piercings for the day which i understand, but then the second time i came i was told they’d be going on their lunch break and to come back. i come back and waited in line (on a bad ankle) and was told after almost an hour that they’d no longer be taking people and that the people in front of us were supposed to tell us that they were the last ones. neither they nor the actual piercer notified us they would be last, despite being open for another hour and a half. i understand things happen but you didn’t see us waiting in line for almost an hour? will not be returning.

Was sent away on a Saturday 2hrs before closing for an ear piercing. I called ahead to make sure she had time when I tried again and they said yes. It's 45 minutes away. I get there and the piercing girl told me I needed a birth certificate for my 13yr old daughter. I asked why they didn't tell me I needed that on the phone, she replied with its common knowledge. Ultimately we left and went to Claire's who proceeded with no request for a birth certificate or attitude. I'd avoid this pretentious piercer.

Went to get pierced three times. Was told that they’d come back after their lunch break, totally understandable.

I come back after their break and they close shop after 40 minutes, me waiting the entire time just to be told to leave at the end.

I know you folks do good service based from your reviews. I’m just disappointed that I’ve gotten the short end of the stick every time.

Janis pierced my nose and did an amazing job! She was very patient with me and explained the process to make me more comfortable. Definitely would recommend!

I went here the other day to get my septum pierced. There was very little wait and it was very clean and affordable. Brittney did my piercing and she was great. I had a very positive experience and would return.

ok, i cant speak on tattoos here but I have had two helixs, a double eyebrow, a lip, a septum, and nipple piercings dona and the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. they dont do appoitments, but if youre in the area and have been considering a piercing, they are perfect. the piercings are done in a private area, the piercer has you sit and marks multiple options for you to choose from (at least for a helix and eyebrow). the piercing room itself is very clean, and I havent had any issues with infections.
a big benefit of going here is the piercers knowledge of piercing anatomy, like I wanted to get an industrial and she was very candid about whether I could get one, or if it would likely imbed itself in my ear (my anatomys not good for it). i feel like its often overlooked how important it is to have a piercer that is willing to say 'this piercing will likely have complications for you, and is not recommended', instead of going through with it and not diclosing the danger.
they also provide clear aftercare instructions and send you home with a sheet clarifying the recomemded time before changing jewelry and what gauge you have.
the piercer was also very helpful when I had some issues of rejection in my nipple piercing (unfortunately pretty common with surface piercings) and the piercer was very helpful with identifying the issue and guiding me on next steps.
overall, the piercer here is amazing, totally worth working around her schedule to get in if you can. through the actually act of piercing and continuing into healing and aftercare, the employees are very helpful.

I had my nose pierced, and Brittney was the sweetest girl. I absolutely hate needles and she made the process so easy, and was very understanding! I totally recommend seeing her!
