We specialize in a wide range of styles from: traditional tattoos, tattoo coverups, black and grey tattoos or color, neotraditional tattoos, realism tattoos, etc. We also provide cosmetic tattoos ranging from Microblading to Lip Blushing. Absolutely recommend this studio! The environment is very calming and relaxed, probably one of the best I have been to. The staff on top of that are very welcoming and sweet. I had my tattoo done by Mark and he was just the sweetest person! I will definitely be recommending this studio to friends!

Tens across the board!! Extremely professional and friendly tattoo crew. Mark did did a fantastic tricky back piece for me yesterday. He took his time with making sure the placement was even and perfect, even bringing a few more sets of eyes just in case. Love that! It is easy to see Mark takes great care and precision with his pieces (no wonder he won an award!), he is amazingly talented and knowledgeable. Highly recommended! Will be back!

I've known Mark for several years and at the time, opening up his own shop was a goal of his. Coming back from Denver to stop in and see his new shop was special. Easily the cleanest/nicest shop I've seen and Marks work is superb. He's won awards and has a knack of putting a perfect twist on any work you want done with him. I let Mark get creative with my ideas and it always turns out 10 times better then what I had imagined in my head. He is focused on quality and has a high standard, so any employees in his shop are hand picked and have serious skills. I have a beautiful thigh sleeve going and will always be coming back to let him throw down. 5 out of 5. Congrats Mark!

Mark recently just did my first tattoo. The experience as a whole was 10/10. He was willing to work with me on the design to give me just what I wanted. Mark is amazing!! He is a super talented and professional artist. Along with that, he is kind, funny and patient! Stronghold Tattoo Studio is beautiful, clean and comfortable. They offer total privacy for any tattoo if the client wants it and that is something I have never seen before. They thought of everything when they opened this shop. I live in Lake Elmo, MN and will gladly drive to Duluth, MN to Stronghold Tattoo Studio and Mark! My last 3 tattoos have been done by Mark and I will never go to anywhere else!

This place is awesome! They were so clean and professional. I have been very picky about what it is that I wanted my tattoo to be, and Mark was just as picky. It needed to be perfect, and it is! My tattoo turned out exactly how I pictured it! He has also been very patient with my pickiness in another tattoo that’s I am wanting and he is drawing. They have been awesome to work with. The new studio is a great facility and Mark clearly holds everything and everyone inside to a high standard. I couldn't have picked a better place to get my first tattoo done. Mark was awesome and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I came in with a commonly requested design and he didn't hesitate to help get it laid out even better than I pictured it. I'm also really glad that I let him run with the color work on it! I got to see more of his work on one of my friends and I'm looking forward to working with him on more in the future!
