Mark is the sweetest! One of my coworkers told me of the gumball tattoos and after it was done I immediately made another appointment. Such a nice clean and professional looking place and it's not even finished yet. Very nice environment and I was made feel calm and welcome the entire time I was there. This Being my first tattoo I was a little unsure where to put it - but the artists of the shop were helpful in the decision. I am very pleased with my tattoo done by one of the shops upcoming apprentices. Everyone there was very knowledgeable and kind. The cleanliness and design of the place really blew me away also! First of all I absolutely love the new shop, clean, modern, and the architecture inside the building is just phenomenal. I’ve been getting my tattoos done by Mark Taylor for the past few years now and I have to say he is very patient, helpful, and professional artist. Absolutely LOVE this new tattoo shop, Mark is an amazing artist with great ideas. I would HIGHLY recommend the gumball machine if you're open minded and looking for a good deal. I got a full shade/color thigh tattoo for only $60 out of the gumball machine, such a fun concept and I'll definitely be doing it again!!

Taylor Jaye is fantastic!!! As soon as I saw the results, I’d wish I’d have done it sooner— but I’m glad I waited to experience Taylor and her eye for perfection. I’ve never felt so comfortable without makeup on, and I can’t wait to recommend her to everyone I know that’s considering having this done! She is UNBELIEVABLY talented and knows her stuff. I was a little apprehensive about getting this done, but she makes sure you understand the process completely; there are no surprises here. This was also my first time at Stronghold; I’ve been trying to find a new tattoo place for a few years now and the welcoming vibe I got as soon as I walked in made me decide to get my future tattoos done here, too! I am so happy with my decision to go to Stronghold, and am SO happy with Taylor’s work!

If you just want a tattoo, you can go to any of the shops in Duluth. However, if you are after a beautiful piece of artwork that you can be proud to carry around on your body for the rest of your life, you NEED to go to stronghold and get tattooed by Mark. He is an extremely kind, dedicated, talented, and motivated individual who knows how to make some seriously awesome tattoos. I had a wonky tattoo that was done by a different artist previously and I went to Mark just recently to get it fixed and I couldnt be happier with my decision! Not only did he fix the areas i saw needed to he fixed but he found a couple other messed up areas i didnt even notice and fixed those also. The new shop is very clean and organized. Mark is very talented and did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable.
