Unprofessional Botched Tattoo Refusal to Touch Up

Update: The owner suggested I was lying for some reason, I have nothing to gain from telling the truth. I don't expect anything from this shop. I got my tattoo way back in 2010 so I imagine they wouldn't have my paper consent form from 10 years ago. Very unprofessional.

One of my first tattoos was done at this place, it was completely botched. The artist who did it refused to give me a touch up. Just be careful with what you sign up for!

Poor Service Inadequate Work

I traveled to Missouri and the shop was very good with COVID precaution, but seemed very rushed when there were only two people waiting. I’ve seen the healing process and the outcomes of tattoos from family members. The artist Dana was lazy with my tattoo, It’s been a little over 2 weeks since I got it and she had missed many spots to color in, barely put any color in some spots and colored a spot with the wrong color. Not sure if it was because she didn’t clean the needle from the previous color but overall the artist was not friendly and seemed to just want to get the job done.

skilled artists efficient service great experience

The tattoo artist’s knew what they were doing. Me and my friend did a walk in and they got us in and out fairly quick. It was my first tattoo and loved it. We will definitely be back again in the future for another one

Professional Expertise Quality work Clean shop Attentive artist

Being my first tattoo, I took careful consideration into where I wanted it done and what details and quality of work I wanted placed on my body permanently, so I opted for Mercy Seat. Upon walking in, I was greeted and paired with an artist and was immediately impressed with the expertise and knowledge of tattoos and their placements, what works and what doesn't, the time it takes, etc. I was personally directed to Brock, which was a great experience. He took my designs and created pieces that are much better than imagined before. I recently got my first tattoo from him and he is currently working on another for me. From start to finish, I can tell you that the shop is very clean, very professional, the staff is incredibly pleasant, and Brock is incredibly attentive and mindful of his work. I was slightly nervous, but that diminished VERY QUICKLY and I learned almost immediately that I had nothing to worry about. He answered all (which was a lot) of my questions with care and we laughed about things here and there throughout the work being done. 10/10; truly professional. I cannot wait to go back for more. (:

White Ink Tattoo Walk-in Quick Service Pretty Tattoo Good Healing

I went in for a white ink tattoo a couple days ago. I called the shop beforehand to verify they would do it. I went in as a walk-in right when the shop opened, and Scott got it drawn up and done super fast, and the paperwork and waiting was quick, too. I wasn't there more than an hour, and the tattoo is so pretty, and seems to be healing similarly to my other tattoo, so I think that's good.

All in all, awesome experience! The tattoo is perfect, and healing seems to be off to a good start!

Friendly Staff Reasonably Priced Great Quality

We went in St. Patrick’s day on a whim. We did call ahead to make sure they took walk-ins, the man answering the phone was super friendly and welcomed us. This was our first tattoo and we couldn’t be happier. Chris and Jason were very good about checking in on us and making sure we felt accommodated. Our small tattoos were reasonably priced and I am very happy with the quality and experience.

Professionalism Cleanliness Friendly

I worked with Brock Ginther and my experience was phenomenal. From the moment I walked in with an anticipated amount of nervousness for my first tattoos until the moment I walked out with confidence and thankfulness for the professionalism presented I view this business with high regard. Brock and I talked about the sketches I came up with while checking in and taking care of the usual paperwork, then he dedicated a solid amount of time to coming up with stents. He presented them to me and we talked about the details and size of them. He prepped the bench and then it was time. The area seemed very clean and neatly organized, which I value a lot since I work in the science field. Brock seemed very confident in his artistry and was pleasant to work with. My nervousness went away after a few minutes, even though I got tattoos on both sides of ribs. My friends were allowed to watch until one of them got a tattoo as well, and while we were waiting for that to happen, Brock made sure to include them in the process as well through small talk and being very friendly. After being done, he patched me up and gave me plenty of recommendations of how to take care of it, and if I had any questions to reach out to him through various outlets.

It has been 2 days since I got the tattoos and they have been healing quick. Overall I'm thankful for the experience I had at the business and the price I paid is completely adequate for the professionalism encountered.

Poor Customer Service Unwelcoming Environment

I came in for a consultation and I was treated like a dumb child. I asked questions about how his process went and he expected that I (someone who's never gotten a tattoo) would already know how it worked. They do not value you as a customer. They think they that they are so amazing that the customer doesn't matter.
