I have used Zen Ink for both piercing and tattoo. I first had my nose pierced by the lovely Melissa. She was truly delightful throughout the process. She is very thorough in her work, providing you with all the information you need to care for your piercing following your visit. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

My tattoo experience was with Haji, who was wonderful from start to finish as well. He was very kind and supportive as this was my first tattoo! He took the time and care I needed to feel comfortable with the process, and I am thrilled with the result.

I also had the opportunity to interact with the owner who is also fantastic. You really won't find a better group of humans. Highly recommend!

Was a little frustrated at first with my experience. The two workers at the counter had no concern with my appointment until I waited at the counter for a few minutes for one of them to acknowledge me. I did have to wait for over half an hour for my appointment. I understand they were busy but i had to pace around the shop because there wasn't enough seating. The only upside was the piercer herself, Kass. She was very sweet and helpful and was very gentle . She also stayed patient and calm. I highly recommend Kass.

Wonderful experience over all. Traveled to Zen Ink for an appointment with Kristen (Brain Candy Ink). Staff was friendly and eager to help when I came in. Tattoo artist Kristen was kind, professional, and was willing to work with me over the months prior to appointment on getting my tattoo design perfect and spent extra time with me once I got there to work on sizing and placement. I did not feel rushed and I could tell she genuinely wanted to do her best work. She was gentle and accommodating. I came in quite nervous as this was the largest tattoo I had gotten so far but she put me at ease. She worked fast and kept things very clean. Kristen is a true artist who has perfected her craft!

Storefront was beautiful as well with a variety of witchy items to choose from. Will definitely be going back to visit the store again and perhaps another tattoo. Thank you!

Went to Nic for a cover-up not knowing what to expect. Not only is the tattoo absolutely beautiful, but they made sure I was comfortable the whole time. A nice, relaxing shop with amazing, talented folks!! 💕 Thanks!!

I stopped in to talk about a larger tattoo, but was able to get a small one that I've wanted for a while. Yuri is a visiting artist and was taking walk-ins that day, which worked out perfectly! He showed me a design much better than the original I had in mind and captured exactly the style I was looking for. He was very easy to talk to and was supper quick, while still making the tattoo look beautiful. I plan on working with him while he's here in the states on my larger project. Highly recommend him!

I'm sorry to post the 2 stars for the shop, but this review is regarding JESSICA (enteka) ONLY.

I originally booked an appointment with her back in June, ad when I ran into a bit of money issues I asked her if I could cancel the appointment, no refund of my deposit was do-able which makes PERFECT sense so she initially offered me a smaller tattoo and I agreed. This is where the extremely poor communication came in (which she happened to blame on her children/family and having too many emails to respond to). Instead of asking me or reaching out to me to find out what I wanted she took it upon herself to assume I wanted the smallest/studio minimum tattoo. I did not, I just wanted to spend less than the original $300 I planned to spend. Mind you, she also agreed to send me sketches of tattoo ideas prior to my session (because I live 2 hours from the shop and couldn't just drive down there to check her sketches). I never got a single sketch, and when I asked about this she said it's because I changed the design of my tattoo completely. Again....I did not which she would have known had she taken the time to make a 2 minute phone call and talk to me because I also gave her my number twice. I just wanted the same tattoo as I originally planned, but smaller. So on went the time, and the night before our appointment (MIDNIGHT, mind you) she cancels my appointment. I was annoyed with her just as much as she was with me but I was still happy to go to the shop for my appointment and talk through a tattoo idea we could get done that day, she on the other hand wanted nothing to do with me anymore. Now we're at 0 communication skills, and looking at about 0 professionalism because she had no real reason to cancel my appointment, and at midnight worst of all. So skip ahead a little while, she offers to transfer my $100 deposit to a different artist at the shop, I agree happily! I found 2 artists, one had no bookings left, and the other moved to a different city... so here I am again with no appointment and out $100 still. Weeks go by, and I contact the owner she agrees that I am entitled to a refund. Fantastic. Ha, just kidding. I have to go back to talking to Jessica about said refund, you'll never guess what happens.... a month goes by and I am still out $100. No refund even though so emailed me back and agreed to send it to me, this was August 30th. We are on September 27th now. I have contacted the owner yet AGAIN, so let's see what happens I guess... but moral of the story is.... don't book with Jessica is you are unable to visit the shop to check on your tattoo design & that's something you need to do. She is a talented artist, with a beautiful family, but woman get your sh*t together. I hope no one ever has to deal with this because after 3 tattoos this is a FIRST for me.

Nic was my tattoo artist today. I wanted a hand tattoo, not really knowing what I wanted, they threw something together, and it turned out GREAT!! Nic was incredibly informative, talked me through the process, and was just overall fantastic!

A very calm, clean environment. They provide snacks and water for tattoo appointments. shoutout to Nic for working with me every step of the way and making a pretty painful tattoo easy!

All artists are unique, professional, with their own aesthetic and personality. Look at their work on the website. You can't go wrong. The atmosphere is comfortable with a chill vibe.
