The customer service was great, it was a very relaxing environment and Melissa made me feel very comfortable. My piercings were even and exactly how I wanted them. However, piercings are wayyy overpriced. I ended up paying $154 to have my nipples pierced and wasn't told how much it would cost until after the piercing's were done. It was stated the service fee was $70, so I expected with jewelry to be around $90, since all I got was a simple metal barbell. I've never paid over $70 for a piercing and I've had 8.

I took my (almost) 4 year old daughter to Melissa to get her ears pierced. Melissa was fantastic with her and really made sure that it was what my daughter wanted and that she was ready to have it done before moving forward. She provided a relaxed and comfortable environment and made it such a positive experience for our whole family to be a part of. I would highly recommend Melissa to any parent looking for a piercer for their child. I was so inspired by my daughter, that I decided to get a spontaneous piercing too and Melissa accommodated that without any issue. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I love this place! I emailed them on Monday morning (Labor day) and got a response from the owner herself letting me know they were closed but would send it out the artists because they were working by appointment only that day.
Emily got it touch with me and worked around everything she was doing to be able to fit me that day and get my tattoo done.
She is amazing, tried very hard to understand what I was needing and wanting and actually we decided to go with a different tattoo for that day because the original I wanted to get done she wanted to be able to take the time and make it awesome.
Great customer service, and the atmosphere is amazing!
Will definitely go back there again and will definitely get my next tattoo with Emily.

I've never written a review for any business but felt I needed to after my experience here. I've had many tattoos by different artists and have never had an experience as uncomfortable and unenjoyable as this one. My artist was late which I was fine with, but the small style of tattoo that my artist agreed to do was not their norm so when I asked if they felt comfortable doing it, I was pretty much told that it was beneath them but they needed the money. They were offended that I even asked, even after i apologized if that was somehow an insult. After that, they acted like they were annoyed to have to do my tattoo at all. I had them place my stencil 3 times to get it perfect. Not excessive in my mind and took no time, but they acted completely annoyed the entire process. The work was fine, but for a paying customer whose only ever had enjoyable experiences until today, I felt I needed to say something. I'm sure other artists here are great, but mine lacked professionalism and shouldn't agree to work that he doesn't want to do and if they do, don't take it out on the customer.

Some friends and I were in town visiting for the week, and decided to get piercings while there. We reached out to Zen (very short notice) and they were so sweet about getting us a time scheduled while we were there! We each got our tragus pierced, which we were nervous about, but Melissa was so warm and welcoming the whole time. We felt very cared for at Zen, everything was VERY clean and calming. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend!!

This was hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! I felt very calm and relaxed before the appointment. The shop is very clean and organized which always makes me feel more at ease. Sierra communicated every little detail which was wonderful, it made me feel even more confident in her. In the past I just had people say okay that’s what you want and just automatically start tattooing, that is NOT zen inks approach. Thanks again Sierra!
