Got my first tattoo here from Cain. He did an amazing job. The tattoo turned out so great and he was very nice and good to talk to. 5 stars would absolutely come back

I've had work done from this shop (years back) and my dad has had a good bit of work done. They always did us right, which is why I wanted to go back (even though I live an hour away)... Tried many times to get in to get a new tattoo and I've never had to work so hard to give someone my money. Emailed the artist I wanted to use, and he must not be too hungry, since I'm still waiting on a response to my second email for about a week now.

I've found someone local to me that has been extremely responsive and professional and is happy to take my money and I will now be leaving (reluctantly) Straight Edge behind.... Sad day, but that's the way she goes. I shouldn't have to put in work to give someone my hard earned cash.

One of my friends has been getting pierced by him for years and he came highly recomended. I got a piercing 6 months ago and I liked the work so I came back to get another today.

I walked in, 2 artist had their back turned away from me and then turned around to look at me and turned back away without even acknowledging me after I said “Hello.” I almost walked back out due to unwelcoming nature but remembered that I liked the piercer so I put my name on the list and waited outside for him to call me due to the covid protocols.

The piercing went well. The price as listed by the sign in sheet is off a little so bring extra cash as they only take cash.

Great service. Professional. I needed to have one of my ears re pierced because I had not worn earrings in 2 years. The guy was amazing . He used a taper . Anyway, great experience, professional personnel, great price.

My daughter wanted second earlobe piercing/cartilage piercing done for when she turned 14. I also wanted ear cartilage piercing. Irish is the best! He was gentle and explained how to care for the piercings in great detail. My daughter is beyond happy and we love our piercings. As a small/local business owner, I truly appreciate the attention to detail and care. My husband has a lot of tattoos and knows of Chris (owner?) when he had a space in Donelson so we felt comfortable from the beginning. I went 2 days ago and got the other side of my nose pierced and paid for matching jewelry on the other side. Today i wake up and BOOM the jewell is gone! So obviously it was not screwed on correct and I'm from 6hrs away so they'll probably do absolutely nothing about it. I'm beyond irritated about this and have never had bad experience with tattoos or piercings and i have a BUNCH

I like Straight Edge; haven't been tattooed there but have talked to a couple artists that were really cool, gave great info, were just too booked up for what and when I needed.
I have been pierced there the piercer is pretty gruff seeming (at least was with me) but very obviously knew what he was doing really well, explained all the important details, and when we finished and got to taking about aftercare he seemed like he really cared. I'd definitely get pierced there again, and would be confident getting tattooed also after talking to the specific artist (they have several), except that I'm super happy with the artist I ended up going to for 2 pretty big pieces.

I am in love with this place. The last two weeks I’ve gotten three piercings and one tattoo. These people are amazing this place also has a great atmosphere.

I went in to get a $300 tattoo gift certificate for a Christmas present today. I had never been in the shop, nor received any tattoo work there. I ride Harley's and am across the street at the Harley dealership often/where I saw the tattoo shop and decided to see if they sold gift certificates... I walked in and was greeted and asked what I needed. I asked if they did gift certificates and told they normally do, but not today bc of they were doing something else involving toys for tots. The lady told me since they were slow they could probably do one. She then proceeded to tell another staff member to take care of me. He explained to her that he was not trained to do it. She said that she was on break so.... ? Wasn't too willing to help and I'm not begging anyone to take my money. Plenty of shops around that anyone can choose from I will def choose another.
