Had a nice time here today. Dan did my tattoo and was quick and had a light hand. He talked about the tattoo with me and we even had a cool conversation during and after.
They were patient and kind even though we didn't actually know what we wanted when we went in.
They also have an atm inside since it is a cash only place. Convention since we didn't know.

Came down from Iowa to visit family and these guys were wonderful to communicate with and quick to get us in the chair in the time frame we could get down to Murfreesboro. Super great artists. Clean and professional shop. Highly Recommend!!

Straight Edge is a super clean, extremely professional tattoo parlor! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All the artist are great. Cain Hollandsworth is awesome!

This shop is first class. The staff and artists are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Chris and his crew are some of the most talented artist in Tennessee. Black and grey, color, portraits and cover - ups, they can do it all! They will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. Not to mention, the shop is kept extremely clean. Straight Edge is very clean and sanitary. I got Daith piercings. Irish is the man to ask for. He's awesome, fast and very personable. You won't be disappointed. I love my Daiths. I have had mine for a couple of years now. You'll love it there!

First off i would like to say that Will Harper is a piercing guy, NOT a tattoo guy as stated below by that little harpy.
Second of all, the tattoo shop itself is VERY clean. Every needle is individually sealed in tight medical looking packaging. Every part of the tattoo gun is sealed in packaging and VERY clean for each individual client. Each artist not only uses a pair of medical grade latex gloves...I saw my tattoo guy Will Wood change his gloves at least 3 times during my 2 hour session. I would HAPPILY recommend this shop and especially Will Wood for all your tattooing needs. I had my first experience getting a tattoo just 3 days ago. The whole shop made me feel very comfortable, safe, and understood. Will Wood went out of his way with my tattoo idea, and designed the MOST realistic giraffe tattoo I have ever seen. Here is the most important part....... The most important part of your tattoo experience....ALWAYS listen to the cleaning rules and instructions your tattoo artist gives you. If you have questions, call them and do not ask someone who does not know what they are talking about. I was instructed very clearly on taking care of my tattoo, and it is already healing after just 3 days. Little pain, small scabs, but that is it. Wanted to do a walk in to get a double conch piercing. Upon walking up to the counter I received an immediate sigh from a man who clearly did not want to be there. After asking what I wanted done, I explained the piercing I was hoping for. He immediately sighed again along with a “really? A double conch?” After saying “yes, that is the piercing I would like”, I received another sigh and an incredulous “how old are you anyway”. I am nineteen, and have had both ear piercings and a tattoo done before. If ever a piercer has had concerns about a piercing I want or a location, they explain to me the issue and why it might not be a good idea, and then we together decide if that is a good decision. After telling him my age, he shoved a form asked me and again asked with a haughty tone if that was really what I wanted. I left right then and there. As someone who works in customer service, if I were to treat a customer in that manner I would be fired. He clearly did not want to do his job, and I was made so uncomfortable and offended I left. I can understand an experienced piercer having a concern over a certain peircing or having reservations, but nothing about that was explained only judged haughtily. I highly recommend finding another establishment for any/all piercings because I would not trust this man near me with a needle ever.

I went to get a septum piercing, called before and asked specifically if i needed to make an appointment. They told me to just come an sign in. I get there but there was no piercer at the moment and there was about 5 people before me and 3 more signed in after me. I sat there about 15 mins and still didn't get any interaction soo i called another place that got me in right away and it was $20 cheaper!....
oh Straight Edge ended up calling about an hour later and said they were ready for me.
Of course people get a break but maybe that's why you guys should make appts. Nobody wants to wait there for an hour and a half.

Irish, the piercer acts like his job is an inconvenience. If you have questions, don’t expect them to be answered and if they are, a very poor attitude will be followed. I was nervous about getting my tragus pierced and he didn’t walk me through anything. The needle and jewelry that he used was extremely oversized (and ugly at that) He was so rough with everything, pulling on my ear and shoving the jewelry though. It’s been a week and the whole left side of my face is extremely swollen and in intense pain. I went with my friend and her piercing Is doing the same thing. They are cheap and you certainly get what you pay for. I highly recommend going to Chrome Halo for piercings, they are right down the road. Great price and professional, quick piercings with little to no pain and a quick recovery.

I've been tattooed by Will Wood twice so far, and I'm going back in less than two weeks for another! He is no doubt the best artist I've ever been tattooed by, and took care of any questions I had along the way and after my tattoos healed. If you're doubting the quality of his work, just go by the shop and check out his portfolios - he's awesome and you won't be disappointed!
