Straight Edge Tattoo & Body

A friend and I went in today to get a matching tattoo priced. This was after I had Facebook messaged the shop and they said that I could come in any time to talk to an artist about pricing. We got there at open, and maybe they were having a rough day, but the two gentlemen that greeted us were rude and unhelpful. They asked us to pick an artist from the portfolios on the shelf, and wouldn’t even look at the tattoo we wanted done. The artist we picked wasn’t there that day and while we were talking about why we liked Amber’s work over the others, the guy behind the counter seemed miffed we didn’t pick him. We went down the street to Chrome Halo and not only received friendlier service, but also a ballpark estimate with little fuss, which is all we wanted. We will not be going back there ever and will spend our money elsewhere. Maybe the staff should be briefed on how to treat potential customers if they wish to have a good reputation in town.

By far the best experience I have had in any tattoo shop. The facilities and equipment are all clean, and the artists are all professional and friendly. My wife and I both have, and will continue to go to Straight Edge to get tattooed by Will Wood. It may just be Murfreesboro, but this guy's talent (particularly with realism) is ungodly. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I have to at least throw it out that any negative reviews this place gets are likely from the impossible to please, and generally idiotic outliers that the tattoo industry frequently attracts.

got my first tat at straight edge. i know several people who got their ink done there. (coworkers, family) all the dudes are laid back and were great to be around. Cain did my tattoo and it kicked a** until he touched it up a few days ago, now it just looks INCREDIBLE! great attention to detail from him and from what i've seen from Chris and Michael. highly recommend going to this shop, its always clean and these guys are good at what they do. i'll definitely be going back asap

I have had ink for 13 years, but it wasn't until I had my first tattoo with Chris that I actually could say that I had ART etched into my skin. He covered four tattoos on my neck with a beautiful piece, and you cant even tell anything else was ever there. Since then I have had two other pieces done and couldn't be happier. My latest work genuinely looks like a portrait that should be displayed for everyone to see. The detail work is amazing, Chris makes wildlife look real. ( wildlife is just my preference) I will be getting more work done very soon. Anyone looking for new ink I highly recommend Chris, he reserves the right to call himself an artist. He does not just lay ink he is definitely a visionary and master of his domain.

Could use some work on the customer service side. The tattoo artist was late for work, then decided she wanted to take a smoke break and play on her phone for another 10 min. After finally going back inside, waiting another 5 min to finally get called back. 40 min after original start time, we get started. It's a business, you should probably work on priorities. Just saying.

Just got my tattoo done by Will Wood yesterday and I absolutely love it. Best tattoo I have and defiantly recommend everyone to get theirs done by him. Very detailed and looks exactly how I wanted it. Shop was very clean and saw everything opened from the package. Can’t wait to get more.Thanks Will!!!!!

The guy who pierced my nose was very rude and used a piercing I never had before that was a ball on the inside went to another place they took it out for me and told me that’s wrong what he did how he pierced it never coming again!

I got my first tattoo here done by Cain. It came out beautiful! I was so nervous and he was okay with me talking the whole time so I wouldn't focus on the painful parts. I watched him take everything out of the plastic wrapper and prepare the ink and everything. Best tattoo shop, friendly people and very clean!

I've been getting tattooed by Will Wood for seven years now, best tattoo artist around. Clean, professional, AND an AMAZING artist. This is by far one of the best tattoo shops around! Definitely will keep my business for years to come!

Great place to get peircings or tattoos. I've been multiple times and have yet to be discouraged. Pricing is on point. You can expect to not get ripped off at this place. I recommend who ever is considering going to this shop to go! They are clean, organized and professional.
