I was able to walk in on a Saturday to get my cartilage pierced and they were very kind and welcoming! The piercer named Tim made me feel at ease. Nice place in deep Ellum.

The staff at Taboo is AWESOME! Super friendly dudes, and they made my girlfriends and I feel so welcomed. We were all walk-in tattoos and we got there at a perfect time because they started to get busy right after. Overall one of the best tattoo experiences, and I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to get a tattoo.

The staff here is always amazing so knowledgeable. And the work is amazing! Very good vibes tell calm your nerves if you need it. If you schedule an appointment make sure you get there in plenty of time for parking.

Timmy not only was rude, but did not do a good ear piercing. The piercing itself was too tight when a professional should know a piercing should not be so tight as space should be left for someone’s ear to be able to heal. It is common knowledge there will be some inflammation during the healing process, but his piercing was too tight and cause severe pain and could cause serious harm if I had not gone to another tattoo/piercing place to check it out. They said I was smart to get it checked out as it could have gotten worse. This is considering having the piercing for just 1 full day. I had to have the piercing removed. It was painful and two polite ladies helped get it out. The piercing itself was also very overpriced just for someone who isn’t professional to have done it. At the end of the day I practically threw money away/paid someone to cause me pain and stress.

Called them beforehand for a nose hoop piercing to make sure they had it and the person who answered the phone did say they will do it and to come after 7pm. I drove 30 minutes and paid 20 dollars for parking just for them to say they don't have the hoops in stock. Was super disappointed..
