Great artists, very professional and super nice! Shop is clean and privacy is maintained. Have been for both a piercing and a tattoo and both were great experiences!! Definitely would go back!

I've had both Matt and Chelsi here before, but all the artists are fantastic and comfortable to be around. Its all private rooms with a sort of vintage atmosphere in the lobby. Their shop minimum is $100 and they'll never quote you wrong.

Carlos did my first tattoo in March of 2014. I originally went to Taboo because he is the father of a good friend of mine. After my experience there, I refuse to get tattooed at another shop! Shortly before that, in January of 2014, I went with the friend to get piercings after class. Tiffany pierced both of us and was so cool and laid back the whole time. She joked with us and we were all laughing and having a good time. I got two helix piercings and a tragus while my friend got both tragus done. I had, at the time, only one helix piercing and no tattoos. She was marking the spot for the piercings and noticed that my first helix was technically positioned wrong and then asked if I wanted her to match the new piercing or have her pierce the new one correctly. I loved that she gave me the option and told me! I feel like other places would've just pierced it and called it a day. I've also been pierced and tattooed by Tim. He is hilarious!! Piercings are quick and, in my opinion, completely painless! And he makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. I've taken a few other friends there and they love it as well. I definitely recommend Taboo Tattoo!!!

Amazing tattoo parlor! I started off at Elm St. because I'm a fan of the Ink Master show. After waiting there an hour for an artist to show up, then being told they don't do realism, I was on the hunt for a shop with real artists who were ready to tattoo any style. I found it at Taboo Tattoo. An artist, with a shelf full of trophies dating back ten years, drew up a sick pocket watch to put on my side. The tattoo was perfect, realistic, better than I imagined. The diverse staff were all friendly and accomodating. I've been tattooed all over the world, from Amsterdam to Hawaii and I can truly say this is a world class shop, one of the oldest in Dallas. Completely underrated! Five stars from this tattoo collector.

Came in to do a cover up, the girl working the counter recommended some good ideas. Experienced laid back shop, Kyle, my tattoo artist, did an absolutely excellent job. The prices are fair. I will be coming back again for another piece.

I got my daith piercings here. The staff was awesome and professional, told me everything I needed to know, the place was sanitary and clean and followed proper procedure. I look forward to getting tattoos done here at some point. I cannot recommend Taboo enough.

Great front desk staff . I felt like I was hanging out with friends . Kndl did an amazing job with my friends tattoo . No pain ! I got a few piercing and it was swift !

THE BEST TATTOO I HAVE!!!!! Thanks to KYLE C....I got a very detailed Flower of Life (a pattern of repeating circles), and it was beyond my expectations. Perfect clean and crisp circles. Very kind and true attentive artist. Noticed there was a flaw from the downloaded picture and cleaned it right up! I will be coming to him from now on. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Im in the service industry and I come in there to get my very first tattoo. I ask about my tattoo and the receptionist is rude off the bat. Smirks when I tell her what I want and presumes to tell me that they will have to overcharge me because it will "fade".I end up getting my tattoo done somewhere else where there were no questions asked and the price was super reasonable. Heads up guys, get rid of your girl at the front because she is driving your customers away. I'm not the only one this has happened to either. I came in willing to spend money and on top of that take care of my tattoo artist. Word of advice teach your rep. to not judge and come with a better attitude. You never know who's coming through that door. Will most likely never come back there again.
