I had Jillian for my first ever piece, and she was absolutely incredible. She’s super friendly, accommodating, and was incredibly understanding about my first-time nerves. She also puts up a projection of music videos on the wall of your choice so you have something to listen to and watch during it.
The store itself is really cool, and the people are extremely friendly. We were talking to Erin for a really long time, who was playing guitar while we were there and just made the whole experience much more welcoming and relaxing.
Highly recommend the shop and Jillian as well!

Wonderful experience! The shop is clean, spacious, stylish and well-lit. Ricky was great to work with both before and during my tat - friendly, knowledgable, answered all my questions. He did a superb job on my Calvin and Hobbes tattoo and I'm over the moon with how it came out. Staff was very helpful and courteous as well. I would go here again in a heartbeat. ^_^

My husband and I spontaneously walked into this shop yesterday, to make an appointment for a tattoo I had wanted. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Erin. (Super sweet & a great artist as well).
I knew I had wanted Loki (The shop owner) to do my tat, but I wasn't sure if I'd be lucky being that it's always busy whenever we're in town, but... Loki was there and available! Yay!
Let me tell you....He is a TOTAL VIBE!!! Not only is he an AMAZING artist, he is professional, hilarious (had me dying laughing the whole session), gave his honest opinions and options for my tat idea, and made the whole experience super chill. He also gave us some cool places to check out during waiting time, since we're not from the area.
My tattoo came out PERFECT, and exactly how I had envisioned it. He just gets it. I absofreakinglutely recommend this shop!

Went to Salem with my girlfriend and I for our 1 year anniversary. Wanted to get tattoos to celebrate. Loki was nothing but the best. Clean shop and great atmosphere! I will be returning to get more ink done by him ! We are both beyond happy with the work we had done.

Signing up for a walk-in at Salem Ink was the best experience and the people there will keep me coming back for years to come! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and working with artist and owner Loki was fantastic! Loki made short work of two tattoos and the work is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! It was also awesome to see how invested they are in training their apprentices. Great people, great work, and the best experience overall! Highly recommend!

My experience at Salem Ink was nothing short of spectacular! Loki was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with. I can sincerely say I had such fun during my session and enjoyed chatting with Loki. He made the experience comfortable and so very enjoyable. Before beginning the piece, he helped me choose the perfect size, shape and style for an ankh on my hand.
