Had a fantastic experience with Kylie Durand! The appointment was easy to make and they fit us in during our trip. She was friendly and professional, knew what she was doing. I absolutely love my tattoo and if I and back in Salem would not hesitate to go back to Kylie.

Being a Salem resident I had passed by and browsed the artwork for many years. Finally pulled the trigger on my second tattoo and decided to come here. Eduardo was my very talented artist. Patient and understanding. His design and work surpassed my expectations. Awesome experience!

Shout out to Eduardo for blessing me with three tattoos! He was so sweet, kind, and professional. He took his time, and there was dialogue on the placement, etc. I find getting tattoos to be a special experience, and Eduardo made that moment even better! Great job! Keep up the good work! I spent a couple months looking for the right place to get my new tat. I reached out to Loki who was more than helpful in getting all the details worked out for it. When I arrived at the shop, I was pleased to see that it was clean, the staff was friendly and they were doing their part to keep people safe during this unfortunate time in our world. Loki was extremely helpful before, during and after getting my work done. I will definitely recommend this shop to friends and family and I will most definitely be going back to have Loki do my next piece as well. Thank you Salem Ink, you guys ROCK!

I got my first tattoo here on Halloween when I visited Salem. Loki was awesome and very accommodating! The shop was very clean and had a great ambiance. I love my tattoo! Highly recommend 10/10 experience!!!

I got a tattoo from Kat here, she was amazing to work with and the entire visit was awesome. Im excited to get some more work for her. She also gave my mom a consult the same day and my mom is so excited for her tattoo next Friday. Kat is a great artist to work with and I highly recommend her.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Salem for the first time and decided we wanted to get matching tattoos to commemorate the trip :) we were fortunate enough to have the owner, Loki, tattoo us both. Bucket List - Just got my first Tattoo at age 60. The staff and facility are impeccable and professional. They went over every detail about the size, placement and color(s) I wanted before we began. Loki was so pleasant and engaging it seemed that we were finished in no time. Good aftercare instructions. Great experience! If I ever decide to have another tattoo - I will definitely return.

I went to Salem Ink for my first tattoo a couple of months ago. My fiancee had passed away the week before and I wanted a shoulder tattoo done to memorialize her name and our anniversary. I had the pleasure of working with Loki, the shop owner, that evening. He was respectful of my inexperience with the process of planning the artwork - gracefully ensuring that I felt comfortable with what I wanted without the condescension I expected. The tattoo came out exactly the way I wanted, and Loki made good on his promise of a free touch-up which I just received today.

On a whim, I got a second tattoo today along with the touch-up. It was a simple sort of piece relating to a hobby of mine, but again Loki was a fabulous host and the piece came out precisely as I wanted.

Loki has me now feeling so comfortable with his process that I'm already addicted, and today established a plan for a much more significant sleeve-style piece that I look forward to seeing through to completion soon.

After examining Ed's portfolio, I'm also starting to ponder other sleeve possibilities that match his art style; which, according to him, significantly contrasts Loki's "stippling" technique. This was before I met with Loki about my currently planned sleeve. I'm grateful for Ed's willingness to concede my business to Loki in favor of Loki's strengths with the style I wanted for this first sleeve - that speaks volumes to me about his desire to see Salem Ink customers happy with the work they receive.

I had a horrible experience. The tattoo I received was so poorly done, it looks like a kid colored outside of the lines. The artist/shop owner is rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There are a lot of other people I notice who had bad experiences and I only wish I knew sooner. It has been a really terrible experience and I hope no one else goes through it.
