Highly recommend! Clean, great work, fair priced. Came in here with 4 other girls getting tattoos and the guys were all awesome! We had 3 different artists between us and they all did great. Stopped at a few other shops before landing here and so glad we didn't settle.

Unprofessional. I wanted a tattoo from Jose, and had contacted him a month prior to schedule an appointment. We talked about what I wanted, placement, reference photos, all provided, seemed okay. He then tells me to text him closer to the date I wanted to get tattooed. Okay, I was fine with that. When I contacted him later, reminding him that we had previously emailed, instead of referencing the original email, he started asking me the same questions. I answered them, and we confirmed an appointment time.
However, when I got to the tattoo studio, I walked up to the counter, said I had an appointment with Jose, and he said, “I’m Jose and I don’t have a 2 o’clock scheduled.” I was baffled. Then he asked me how we communicated and said that he had a 2 o’clock scratched out because it hadn’t been confirmed. I double checked our conversation and 2PM was definitely confirmed.
He told me he could get me in. There were a few girls in front that just needed a couple words tattooed, and he would tell the couple that just spoke with him that I was ahead of them. 40 minutes later, after not communicating to the couple that I would actually be ahead of them, he was done with the girls, and I approached him to tell him how frustrated I was. He admitted that he should have written the appointment down, but the rest of what he said pretty much summed up to, “the weekends are busy.” I walked out.

Went in for a walk-in on a Thursday night around 9PM-ish, said they didn't know if they'd be able to fit me in since their artists were busy but they managed to get done pretty quick. Nathan did a great job and took the source material I provided him and made something completely beyond my expectations. Great shop and I will definitely be coming back here as long as I live in Austin.

And Jason is very knowledgeable and precise with his piercings and will give you his honest opinion when asked.

I got my first tattoo done and it came out really good. My tattoo artist was Juan and he was really cool and made sure I was good. Definitely recommend true blue on red river it was really fast and friendly service and amazing work for the price.
