True Blue Tattoo & Piercing

My artist was Deana, she was so great and so were all of the other artists! This was my first tattoo and they were so kind and helpful in giving us information and keeping me calm. I gave her the photo below and the ideas I wanted and it was above and beyond what I could have expected. I love it so much and the artists all have incredible talent!

Went to true blue wanting to get my first nose piercing but also pretty nervous and unsure if it’d look good on me. Joe was able to get me in as soon as i got there, talked me through everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. He was really easy going but also professional and created a comfortable environment and erased my nerves. My piercing looks great and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 10/10 recommend!

I would call myself an unofficial advocate for this place after the number of people I have shared this amazing place with over the last however many years. The artists are unbelievably talented, their reputation has held over the years for their work, cleanliness and professionalism. Most of the friends I referred drive in from all over texas for the quality and price they offer and I simply don’t trust any other place as much as them. If you’re looking to get a great piece done, check their website for their artists and find the style you like, send an email and get something on the calendar, they often book months in advance and the wait is worth it.

another thing I feel sets them apart from other places is that many of the true blue artists that me or my friends have had, charge you for the time spent tattooing, not including set up, prepping and clean up, I had places in dallas give me $350 estimate for “3 hours of work” that these artists did in 45 min for a third of the price. Not only do they love what they do but they are so unbelievably talented and genuine that I can trust that I’ll get a great quality tattoo for a fair price and that trust matters for something so permanent on your body.

I really wanted to give this place one star, but my piercing experience made up for the lack in the tattoo shop. Chris Carlton was extremely rude and off putting. Please save yourself the time and go over to the guys at Black Dagger, they're amazing, care about what you want on your body. And aren't going to treat you like you're an inconvenience.

However, Joe who did my piercing was amazing. Throughout, cares about his client. Any modification to your body is important, but so is the person doing the modification. Thank you for making my experience one to remember.

My sister and I two weeks ago decided to get “matching” tattoos together and went to see Jason Garcia. Immediately there were issues when he said my idea of having the tattoo half black and half red would look bad and look stupid. It took him a couple minutes pondering the idea and decided he didn’t like it, but would still tattoo it red and black if I wanted. At that point I clearly did not trust him to pull it off and went all black (which he still couldn’t pull off).

He began tattooing with a very heavy hand but nothing bad at all. He commented on my sisters script writing on her wrist claiming that he would never tattoo that on someone and actively tries to convince customers otherwise.

After my tattoo was done he began prepping my sisters and that’s when I noticed the part in the top left where he clearly went outside the line. It almost looks like he tried to cover it up with tan ink and still missed. I also noticed the blowout happening within the first couple minutes. He then tattoos my sister and hers also has a ton of problems (not straight lines, very squiggly, lines not even connecting, blowouts). After rushing through our tattoos (20 min max for each one), he tells us that he’s quick because he has been tattooing for 23 years.

Both me and my sister still love the design of the tattoo and cherish the meaning but man are our tattoos screwed up. It was really disappointing as we had been planning this for months. The left picture is two weeks healed and the right is the night of. We each paid $120 for these monstrosities of “clean line work.”

My niece had her 1st piercing 3 . The piercing was up stairs .Beautiful decor .wooden floors mini water fountain . Zen like . great Art on walls .very clean. The guy doing the piercing was polite and very on point with instructions on aftercare and step by step on the procedure. Since i was a body piercer for 10 yrs . I know the do and donts.

My mom and I went here to get our first tattoos. Scott did ours and he was awesome! Our experience was great and our tattoos were even better. I highly recommend coming here and I would get my next tattoo done here as well.

I live out of state and they made me want to come back for every tattoo! Jason made the whole experience wonderful. Everything is super clean and sanitized. Would come back agian!

I just got my helix and lobes pierced by Joe. He was fantastic and calm. Talked me through the whole thing and felt no pressure. I was able to have my mom with me in the room. The piercing barely hurt and he made sure I was okay after each one. He was super nice and my experience was overall fantastic. Definitely recommend.
