True Blue is the cleanest, most sanitary parlor I’ve been to. The artists are very knowledgeable and experienced. They have a piercing parlor upstairs at the Red River location, which is also super clean and has great piercers. I’ve only had good experiences here, and it’s the only tattoo parlor I’d ever recommend!

I got two nose piercings done here over the course of around two years, a nostril piercing from Sarah, and a septum piercing from Pat just a few weeks ago. Both of my piercings were done properly and cleanly, they have healed/are healing nicely, and both Sarah and Pat were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The shop was very clean and I never had any worries about piercing issues or infections! Highly reccomend!
Update two months-ish post piercing: My septum piercing healed great and it is immaculately placed. Not crooked at all and easy to work with!

Absolutely amazing shop for piercings! Pat did my nostril piercing today and he was totally great! Very good customer service and very knowledgeable in what he does! As a nurse, sterility is a big issue for me when getting any piercings or tattoos and Pat definitely knows what's up. As far as piercings go, this place is super clean and has reasonble prices. Can't speak on their tattoos, but I'll be going back there if I decide to get any more piercings!

Dropped in on a rainy afternoon while I was in Austin for work. Jose took me in after a short 45 min wait and made a stencil from a print-out of a morse code tattoo. He let me try a few different spots to make sure I had the final product placed exactly right. He did a fantastic job considering all the straight lines and angles. When it was done, I ended up paying less than he had originally quoted because it took less time than anticipated. I strongly recommend this place. Super relaxed environment and staff and very reasonable prices. They could totally charge more given their experience and talent.

Jason did such a great job with my piercing. I got my second hole in my earlobe done. He was very nice and informative, and walked me through the entire piercing process and aftercare. The piercing area was super clean and sterile. The pain was very minimal - all I felt was a little pinch. It's been a week since my piercing and my ears aren't even sore. I wish I lived near Austin so I could go back here!

Sarah was incredible! I went in for a double ear piercing. She is a reiki master so she used her essential oil spray to clear the air and create positive energy and calm me. She did an ear massage to loosen my tissue and everything was very sterile, clean and easy. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for a quality, experienced piercer.

I have two tats now and both were from True Blue tatted by Nate. I love them so much! I came to Nate with my vision and he made it happen x 10. True blue is a great tattoo spot. Nate is super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable.
They're taking great steps towards protecting customers with door checks, temperature checks, hand sanitizers and even require phone wipe downs. Unfortunately my boyfriend could not be in the building with me while getting the tat, due to social distancing regulations. You can use the qr code scanner to acknowledge all of the paperwork, which is great.
It is basically on 6th street and next to a dark alley, so you do want to be careful if you're waiting for a ride after or something. They do let you wait inside for your ride, which is nice.
Definitely want to call ahead and make appointments because these guys stay busy.
